Chapter 228 Town of Suaron
Amanda sat opposite him and stared at his face and said, "Are you ignoring me on purpose after coming all the way here?"
"Huh? What? No! I’m not doing that" Michael hurriedly said as he didn’t want her to misunderstand.
"Then what?" Amanda scowled.
’What’s with her today?’ Michael looked at her, as he suddenly felt that Amanda is acting pretty weird right now, opposed to how she always gave him the cold shoulder.
"Nothing, are you free tomorrow?" Michael said, trying to shift the conversation to another topic.
"Why are you asking?" Amanda said as she took the coffee that her female employee gave her.
"Well, I want to invite you for dinner, will that be...okay?" Michael said, but then he suddenly creased his brows when he saw Jenny at the back of the counter, peering her body halfway on the door and giving him a thumbs up with a huge smile on her face, then he just ignored her and focused his attention back to Amanda.
"Sure, why not?" Amanda quickly replied before taking a sip of her coffee.
"Ohh, maybe ne- really!?" Michael was actually expecting Amanda to reject his invitation. After all, when he had invited her to lunch before, he had to ask her multiples times before she agreed to his request
"Yeah, why not? As long as you’re the one paying for it" Amanda shrugged her shoulders like it wasn’t a big deal at all.
"Sure, no problem! I’d be happy to!" Michael smiled widely in happiness, he didn’t even bother thinking about why Amanda is acting very warm towards him today, but at the same, his vigilance towards the two men who had been following him all this while hasn’t diminished in the slightest.
Both Michael and Amanda enjoyed a short talk between the two of them before they decided it was already enough for the day as they both had their own plans for today, but what they didn’t know...is that the two of them would still be together even inside the game.
The catch is... that they still won’t know their true identities inside Fate Online!
So yeah, both of them would still continue their bickering inside the game without even knowing who they truly are.

Michael finally arrived back at his place. Alone again, with both of his parents currently out, busy with their own matters.
Michael quickly made his way towards the kitchen, he went over to the sink and started washing his hands before he started preparing something for lunch.
He took out some bacon from the fridge and started frying them, then he fried two eggs soon after. After doing all that, he took out some lettuce and tomatoes from the fridge and washed them on running water.
Doing all that, Michael made three bacon, lettuce, tomato plus egg sandwiches for his lunch, then he had a glass of water in his hand as he went into the living room and started watching some TV show as he waited for the update to be over in five more minutes.
"Wow, it’s truly boring when I have nothing to do" Michael mumbled while munching on the sandwich inside his mouth.

Michael, Solitary Tempest and Viper finally arrived near the border town of the dukedom, and they just need to pass through the border town and its walls, and they would then successfully step foot inside the Kingdom of Zekkan.
"We’ve finally arrived!"
Michael and the other two sighed with relief when they saw the silhouette of the border town in the distance.
VIper and the other two picked up their pace as their mounts sped up.
"Halt!"
A soldier who was busy inspecting the other people who want to enter the town quickly noticed the three riders and blocked their way just as they arrived near the gate of the town, surrounded by its towering walls.
Michael and the others quickly slowed down and dismounted from their mounts as they turned into a small ball of light and disappeared inside the bodies of their respective owners.
"Hey there" Michael smiled as he took out a token from his inventory and handed it to the soldier before them who was just about to angrily yell at them.
The Level 50 Soldier before them looked at them doubtfully before taking the token from Michael, but when the soldier got a good look at the token in his hands, his expression quickly turned into shock and looked at the three people before him, especially Michael.
The soldier quickly saluted and said hurriedly, "My apologies, Sir! Please...go on!"
"It’s okay," Michael said, then he took the token from the soldier as the three of them continued along on the road, under the curious gazes of NPCs and players alike.
The soldier heaved a sighed of relief when they were finally far from him, and then he continued on his duty and carefully inspected the people lining up to get inside the town.
"Where did you get that?"
When they were a bit further away from the soldier, Solitary Tempest asked Michael about the token as she was curious about it.
"The duke gave it to me before we left their state. Pretty awesome, right? Now we don’t need to line up like the others, and we can use this if we got ourselves into trouble around the dukedom" Michael said as he played with the token for a bit before throwing it back inside his [Storage] space.
"Though it would be useless in a few hours now because we’re already leaving for their border" Viper said.
"It would still come in handy in the future though, as I have a feeling that we might see them again soon" Micheal smiled.
And the team of three players finally passed through the gates and arrived at their destination.
