Chapter 187 A Mistress
"I have to let my grandfather know." Zhao Lifei said, pulling out her phone to call him.
Yang Feng wanted to protest, but knew if she did not tell him, the old man would think she was kidnapped again. It was better to tell him now than later.
Zhao Moyao placed down his pen and picked up the phone. "Xiao Fei, who are you with?"
Zhao Lifei nearly choked on the question. How did he find out so quickly?
Her eyes nervously trailed towards Yang Feng, whose eyes were concentrated on the road, but ears fully open for the conversation. "I’m with Yang Feng, he’s taking me to the house he bought for me."
"Are you coming home tonight?"
"I’m not sure yet, I was thinking of moving into the house today." She deliberately left out the part that Yang Feng was the one who wanted her to move so quickly. He was already on her grandfather’s bad side, she did not want him to get into any more trouble.
"You’re moving so soon?"
Zhao Lifei could sense the doubt and disappointment in her grandfather’s voice. He was doubtful she was the one who wanted to move and disappointed that it would be so quickly.
"I didn’t want to disturb you anymore."
"You never did." Zhao Moyao responded. Her presence did not bother him, but the lack of it did. Because she was in his care, he constantly worried about her well being and where she was.
"I’ll have my men go to your apartment in Sky Arc and move your closet and other sentimental things."
Zhao Lifei stared out the window. Sentimental things? There were none.
Perhaps a picture frame or two, but aside from that, the spacious apartment only had useful furniture.
There were so many horrible memories that she wanted to abandon, so many trauma-induced nightmares spent in that place... She did not want to spend another night there.
She responded, "Okay, but just in case, I will be going back there to pick up a few things."
Zhao Moyao felt his senses heighten at her words. He glanced at Li Xuan who was intently paying attention to the conversation, waiting for an order.
Zhao Moyao wrote down on a piece of paper, ’Have the security there double-checked.’ Whoever kidnapped her knew where she lived. He was ensuring they could not grab her again.
"Bring someone with you if you go." Zhao Moyao wanted to tighten the security around the premises in case something happened.
"Okay." She turned her head to Yang Feng and decided to take him there instead.
"Will you be joining me for dinner?" He asked her, worried because he had a professional dinner to attend to.
"If you have plans, then most likely not."
"I do." He relaxed a bit and continued, "I will talk to you tomorrow then." He hung up the phone.
Zhao Moyao tiredly sighed, leaning back in his chair as he stared out the window overlooking the city.

The security around Cerulean Water Pavilions was better than Sky Arc Complex, that much was ensured by Yang Feng.
In order to enter the area, one would have to show identification, type in their individual passcodes, and get checked by the security at the front gates. She heard there were also hidden guards in the community...
With the men that Yang Feng supplied to protect her, she was sure the possibility of something happening to her would be very low.
Yang Feng got out of the car first and opened the door for her on the other side, offering her a hand. She graciously took it as he whisked her out of the car, settling his arms on her hips.
"You sure like to grab my waist a lot." She mused when he twirled with the strings of her top.
He squeezed the soft flesh. "It’s reassuring."
"How so?" She asked, walking with him into the massive two-story house. It was breathtaking on the outside, the yard done to perfection, with massive Greek-style columns in the front, an open and spacious concept where the house resembled a small castle [1].
"It just does." He shrugged a bit. "Do you like it?" He asked her, happily waiting for her response while guiding her towards the house. He swiped the keycard, typed in a long password, scanned his fingerprints, and then answered two questions before entry was granted.
"Yeah, but it’s a bit too big for one person..." She trailed off, blown away by the enormous open foyer that overlooked a grand and modern living room.
"You won’t live here alone." Yang Feng made sure of that.
"I’ll visit you every day." This community was not located too far from his house and it was only a short twenty-minute drive.
"It feels like you’re buying a house for a mistress." She blurted out. The idea sounded silly to her, but it came out regardless.
Yang Feng quirked a brow when she crossed her arms. "Then move into my house." He cheekily responded. "I would like that more."
His eyes lightened a bit at the words, practically hearing wedding bells. It was his original plan. He wanted this house to be a decoy for Zhao Moyao and then once everything was settled here, he desired for her to not even sleep here, but at his place instead.
"How about we use this place as a decoy and tomorrow you’ll live with me." He looped his arms around her sides, settling his hands on her lower back, drawing her to him.
"The security there is even better than here, the view is ideal, and you’ll have people to wait on your every beck and call." He buried his face into the crook of her neck, deeply breathing in her scent, kissing the area before nuzzling his head there.
"Hm, I’m not sure—"
"You’ll see me every morning and I’ll even cook for you. I can assign workers to this house, but it’ll still be lonely for you. Come with me and I’ll keep you company every day."
"What about your work? Will your workaholic tendencies allow that?" She mused.
"I’ll work a normal schedule then."
His entire staff team would be beyond thankful if he started later in the day, around nine instead of seven, and ended earlier as well, perhaps six at night instead of nine or ten.
"Hm, I’ll think about it then." She teased, enjoying this push and pull game.
Not happy at her words, he bit her neck, causing her to gasp and hit him in the back.
"Yang Feng!" She huffed. "You’re such a spoiled brat." She tried to wiggle her way out of his arms, but he refused to let her go.
"I’ll move in tomorrow." She rolled her eyes.
He finally lifted his head from her shoulder, a satisfied smirk on his face. "Okay, I’ll have my men move whatever items Zhao Moyao’ men moved into this house."
