Chapter 1856A – The Divine Temple in the Galaxy
Rourou glanced at him in her usual, casual way, as though she did not care. Yet, it also seemed as though she had purposely did that to flaunt it to the Ruler even though her goal had not been achieved.
“While you did not do anything wrong, you can’t shrug yourself clear of everything.” As she said this, she continued to down her wine. As though she was already drunk, she held the wine fruit shakily and ended up spilling a good portion of the wine down her chest.
Her clothes seemed quite proper initially, but once they were wet, they quickly became translucent, revealing the beautiful scenery they hid. Qin Yu’s eyes flickered past her chest but in the next instant, he quickly retracted them as though he had been shocked by electricity.
Rourou’s lips curled up playfully and it was obvious that she was mocking him.
“Enough!” The Ruler snapped in a calm manner. Rourou’s smirk lightened considerably.
The Ruler turned around and stared at Qin Yu. She continued talking in the same calm manner to answer him, “No.”
It was slightly abrupt and it made Qin Yu puzzled. He jolted all of a sudden and remained silent. This silence extended from his quietness to a deep emotion that came from his heart. A great, deep sea had washed over his heart and placed him in a solemn tomb under the darkness of the sky.
He knew that the Ruler was answering his last question, but he still wanted to confirm it again. Taking in a deep breath, he asked once more, “Is there no possibility?”
The Ruler shook her head, “No.” After a slight pause, she elaborated, “A long river flows through the world. It might have many tributaries at the top, crossing through the vast lands and bending around the mountains and trees. But in the end, they are all one body and they are not able to separate from each other…even if they are able to separate, and river water flows back to the tributaries, you will only get a new river channel that is not related to the previous one at all.”
A heavy atmosphere was in the air and Qin Yu remained silent. After thinking for a while, the Ruler’s voice grew much warmer, “Perhaps this analogy is not accurate, but I think you can understand that there is no way to reverse this. I know that this might be cruel for you but I don’t want to lie to you. So please accept this…you can only accept this truth.”
The tree branches had morphed into a comfortable chair but Rourou changed her position and looked lazily at the Ruler. There was a flash of playfulness in her eyes yet she looked helpless and calm. Her attitude now mirrored her reaction when she asked Qin Yu to make a choice back then. What the Ruler just said now had obviously pierced Qin Yu’s heart.
In the end, they were both of the same body. If outsiders knew about this, their jaws would drop. However, she did not attempt to interrupt the Ruler, similar to how the Ruler had chosen to remain silent when Rourou was asking Qin Yu her questions a moment ago.
Qin Yu sighed. This was a normal reaction, but it felt extremely difficult to him currently. As cool air flowed through his nostrils and filled his lungs, every movement brought about a scorching pain that felt like a thousand knives were shoved through his lungs. Nonetheless, his expression was calm. Aside from the slight knit of his eyebrows, his expression did not show his pain.
“I understand.” Qin Yu slowly uttered.
However, the flames were still burning in his heart. These bright flames could not be shown to the two people in front of him. Not only was it because Rourou and the Ruler were both Origin, a being that was more powerful than Blazing Sun Owners, but Qin Yu knew that they were trying to help him.
After all, he knew the extent of goodwill.
The flames in his heart never died no matter how he tried to suppress them. They were continuously becoming stronger and the heat felt like it was going to flow through the seven orifices of his body and turn him into a violent, angry demon from hell.
“Sorry, I suddenly thought of a few things that I have not dealt with. I will make a move first.” Qin Yu’s footsteps paused, “I have to leave Qin Seven in your care.”
Shoosh –
He vanished.
Lying on the chair, Rourou’s eyes slowly opened and the drunken look on her face disappeared. There was a slight daze in her eyes and she looked at the Ruler before she suddenly pouted, “I didn’t think someone would really go and seek their death.”
The Ruler smiled in response, “I didn’t think that someone would attempt that either, but the facts are clear.”
“Hmph! Stop laughing. You really gave him a heavy blow this time. Although this is truly the case, you could have delivered it to him in a nicer manner.” Rourou chastised with a frown. She was not pleased.
The Ruler remained calm, “Is there any use in being nice? We both understand Qin Yu. He gets the full picture with one sentence and there is no point trying to play things nicely.” She turned to look at the galaxy of stars above her, “You take care of Qin Seven, I need to go after Final. If he does not abide by the rules, there will be trouble.”
She turned to leave.
Rourou stared in the direction that the Ruler left in with a solemn look in her eyes.
……
The world was incredibly vast.
There was more than one galaxy in this universe.
The palace that Rourou possessed belonged to one galaxy. However, the real galaxy of stars was much more vast.
Deep in this galaxy of stars, the colossal divine temple was held up by the tower of Ancient Clan corpses.
A Great Sun Illusion appeared behind the divine temple. It looked like a big eye that was observing the entire world.
All of a sudden, the Great Sun Illusion sensed something and it brightened.
Blinding light rays burst out from the Great Sun Illusion like sharp arrows leaving their bows as fast as lightning. There was a shrill sound as they shot out in all directions.
In an instant, the arrows had whizzed through the empty space and they were lost in the vast galaxy. However, one light ray that shot through the sea of stars suddenly stopped. It quickly dissipated.
Qin Yu appeared not far away. He looked at the divine temple, not affected by the fact that he had been discovered. This was very normal. The nine Blazing Suns could sense each other and he would definitely be discovered since he came here.
Back with the Ruler, the flames in Qin Yu’s heart had continued burning. He could no longer suppress them because if he could not release the flames, they would turn him into ashes.
Qin Yu needed to find an appropriate place to let it out and this divine temple in the galaxy was obviously his best choice. His gaze fell on the divine temple and the corpses of the Ancient Clan. A pot of boiling hot oil was poured on his fire, encouraging it to burn even fiercer.
Qin Yu’s eyes were red.
Hatred and killing intent that came from his blood started to intertwine with the anger flowing through his veins and the murderous aura around Qin Yu became incredibly terrifying now.
The Blazing Sun Owner in the divine temple, Galaxy, opened his eyes. His face was slightly pale and there was shock in his eyes. Although he guessed that this day would come since Qin Yu killed Heavenly Center, he did not expect that it would come so soon.
After all, Qin Yu had awoken his memories after becoming the Blazing Sun Owner. The first thing that he ought to do was to settle things with Final. Even if Origin was helping him, he ought to familiarize himself with the powers of the Blazing Sun first to avenge the Ancient Clan.
Yet, Qin Yu was here.
Sensing the violent aura outside the divine temple, Galaxy sighed deeply and his expression darkened. There was a cold look in his eyes. Fights were allowed between Blazing Sun Owners, and since Qin Yu came here voluntarily, Galaxy had no choice but to face him head on.
Furthermore, this was also an opportunity for Galaxy. Even though he was heavily injured and he had yet to recover from the blows he had sustained, Qin Yu was a new Blazing Sun Owner and he was not familiar with the powers of the Blazing Sun.
The two of them were evenly matched!
However, this was his territory.
Besides this advantage, Galaxy also had another hidden card…it was a card that he never thought he would have to use one day.
Galaxy did not stand up but he straightened his back and remained seated on his chair in the divine temple. He stared ahead calmly.
“Qin Yu!”
He spat out the name and instantly, a powerful force boomed out like thunder and swept through the entire galaxy.
Buzz –
The Great Sun Illusion behind the divine temple brightened. It was originally a shadow but it quickly turned into a great sun. Terrifying auras swirled around the great sun and even though there were black dots circling on the surface of the sun, they appeared insignificant compared to its brightness.
Qin Yu responded with a strong fist that he threw out as he stomped down.
Boom –
The entire galaxy shook violently. The stars near the great sun that were on the verge of being annihilated grew dimmer.
A cold glare flashed past Galaxy’s eyes as Qin Yu’s fist struck the divine temple.
Ripples splashed from the massive blazing sun because of the impact. A sturdy defensive shield descended and shrouded the galaxy, encapsulating the two Blazing Sun Owners within.
“Blazing Sun Owner, Qin Yu, you have infiltrated my divine temple and you have instigated a battle between Blazing Suns!” Galaxy spoke threateningly as he raised his hand, “I will take you on!”
Bam –
The vast Blazing Sun vanished and in the next moment, the doors of the divine temple opened and Galaxy walked out. There was a mark of a Great Sun on his forehead that seemed to be a burning flame. His aura felt like that of the son of heavens…no, it was far beyond that and he was more like the ruler of the world!
“Kill him.”
Galaxy spoke slowly. As he said this, the will of the Blazing Sun was released and the numerous corpses of Ancient Clan members below the divine temple slowly opened their eyes. There was nothing within those sockets, only a deep, dark, bottomless abyss.
Boom –
The crowd of Ancient Clan giants stepped forward.
Roar –
Ferocious roars were directed at Qin Yu.
Behind these honorable Ancient Clan members, massive figures could be seen. They were like abysses and a deathly aura accompanied them!
