Chapter 368 - The Relocation of Realm Portal
In front of him, Tobi and Colorful were blocking the path with firm looks painted on their faces.
\'\'I will come back…\'\' He uttered with hate, \'\'Then, you two will die beneath my feet!\'\'
\'\'Haha, sure.\'\' Tobi strapped his bow into his back and waved as Colossus slowly disappeared with a hateful look.
Colorful sat down on the stairs and spoke with exhaustion, \'\'Haahh… I am so tired!\'\'
\'\'Me too…\'\' Tobi sat down with droopy eyes. It was like he suddenly aged ten years.
…
In Superfort.
King Michael slowly stood up and saw the spacious City Center. The residents, who saw him, paled in horror and scurried away.
However, he didn\'t care about them. Instead, looked toward the distance, where a cloud of smoke was wafting toward the sky.
He gritted his teeth and began running toward his Guild Building. Everyone who stood in his path was shoved to the side. However, no one dared to speak against him.
Soon, he passed several streets and reached his guild building, which was in flames. The broken windows let out a cloud of smoke, and the white walls rapidly turned black.
Whoosh!
Out of nowhere, King Michael began inhaling the air into his lungs. It was a strange sight because it looked like every wind breeze was sucked into his lungs.
After inhaling enough, he blew it out, and the blast of wind extinguished the fire
[Wind Breath Used]
The fire disappeared. However, the building was a mess. The walls were dyed in black, and the windows were broken apart.
He ran up the stairs and entered the building. The furniture was unrecognizable, and the floor was a mess. In front of the windows were burnt sticks, which seemed to be the reason for the fire.
After picking up the sticks, he broke them apart and hatefully looked toward a dark alleyway, \'\'Whoever did this… You are dead!\'\'
Then, footsteps rang outside, and Colossus appeared with disheveled hair and broken armor.
\'\'Colossus, you muscle-brained idiot.\'\' King Michael stood up while showing a side of his face to the pale-faced Colossus.
\'\'Did you tell anyone of our plans?\'\' He asked, \'\'Please say no.\'\'
Memories of him taunting Tobi while revealing the valuable information surfaced in his mind. He knew that if King Michael found out about it, he would kill him in both ingame and real life.
He shook his head rapidly and said, \'\'N-No!\'\'
\'\'Good…\'\' King Michael said with some relief, \'\'Where is Sitka?\'\'
\'\'He never used his ticket,\'\' Colossus said.
\'\'Fuck!\'\' King Michael tugged out his hair strands, \'\'I hope he didn\'t find another prey… The last time when he did, he hunted down that player for a week. For whole fucking week!\'\'
…
The footsteps rang in the dimly lit path, and soon, rows of players entered the hall, where Tobi and Colorful were talking while seated on the stairs.
They turned their heads and saw their Guild Master appearing with King Jonathan and hundreds of players.
Isaac was also with them but stayed silent while moving alongside the rows of players. During the walk, he kept thinking about the strangeness of the battle. He couldn\'t tell what it was, but he was sure there was something odd about King Michael.
\'\'What happened?\'\' King Jonathan asked from tired-looking Tobi, who had barely enough energy to stand up.
\'\'Colossus, Vice-Guild Master of Silver Death happened,\'\' Tobi replied.
\'\'What did he want?\'\' Queen Diana asked while rubbing Colorful\'s soft hair.
\'\'That.\'\' Tobi pointed at the Realm Portal and saw everyone\'s confused faces,
\'\'Apparently, teleportation pearls have enough energy to teleport Realm Portals away… They wanted to steal it.\'\'
Everyone\'s eyes widened in shock.
In the crowd of players, Isaac\'s face was one of shock. The teleportation pearl in his inventory felt much heavier than only a second ago.
\'\'Diana…\'\' King Jonathan leaned closer to Queen Diana and began whispering. Their talk lasted for several minutes before coming to a conclusion.
\'\'Alright!\'\' He clapped his hands and turned around to look at other players, \'\'If we don\'t do something about the Realm Portal. One day, it will get stolen. That\'s why I propose teleporting it to a safer place.\'\'
Most of the players nodded and agreed. But, there was a minority that felt skeptical. If the Realm Portal was teleported to the protection of one of the Guilds, what stops them from keeping it for themselves?
\'\'In the Golden Crown Guild building, there is an indestructible room.\'\' King Jonathan said and saw many disapproval looks on the crowd. He instantly knew that they were afraid that they would want to keep it for themselves.
\'\'I suggest teleporting it there.\'\' King Jonathan soon continued before anyone could interrupt.
\'\'Before any of you oppose me. Hear me. It would be free for everyone who wished to use the Realm Portal. That\'s a promise.\'\'
King Jonathan\'s promise was captured by dozen floating cameras. The players felt more relaxed after knowing that Golden Crown would be doomed if he backed off by his promise.
\'\'Now, does anyone have teleportation pearl?!\'\' This was the most important question. Without one, they wouldn\'t be able to teleport it away.
The crowd of players shook their heads. However, then, a single hand was raised.
The crowd stepped to the side, allowing everyone to see the white-haired youth.
King Jonathan and Queen Diana sighed in relief after seeing who it was.
Isaac walked toward them and nodded. Then, King Jonathan leaned closer and whispered the coordinates of the room.
He nodded and walked toward the Realm Portal. While doing so, he passed by Tobi, whose eyes never left him. There was strength in his gaze that told Isaac everything he needed to know.
Tobi seemed to be a battle maniac and wanted to fight against him for some reason.
From the granite door, Darth appeared with an exhausted look. He went to Queen Diana and began whispering to her. Soon, her beautiful face was scrunched into worry.
Isaac appeared on top of the platform and pulled out the teleportation pearl. Then, he touched the rocky part of the portal and closed his eyes.
Soon, the location of the secret room became very clear in his mind. Then, the portal began glowing radiantly, and after the bright light disappeared, the Realm Portal was also gone.
