Chapter 659 Killing Demon Army.
\'\'...\'\' Ano sighed and stepped forward. His crescent-shaped blade pierced through the air. Then, Gabriel covered his body with his metal wings and stopped the advancement of the sword. He then used two of his back wings to make himself float.
As he hovered a meter above the ground, he suddenly spun and rammed straight into Ano with metal wings, scratching across Ano\'s body, leaving bloody cuts behind.
\'\'...\'\' Ano stood his ground while not even flinching. The blood dripped down his garments, but he still looked indifferent. As the clock hit zero, all his wounds healed miraculously.
\'\'This is not very fair...\'\' Gabriel sighed and suddenly felt very tired. The mental exhaustion of fighting with your life on the line was not something to be trifled with. In some senses, it was even worse than physical exhaustion, especially in the case when two highly ranked individuals fought.
They might not get physically tired, but they might get mentally tired. In this case, Gabriel was feeling extremely well—he wasn\'t tired or even in danger of exhausting his stamina. However, his mentality was strained and he felt like his shoulders were turning sluggish and heavier.
While the battle was happening, two demons had arrived on the other side of White Paradise. There were tall stone walls blocking their advancement. However, they had already prepared for it.
They quietly dug into the ground and dug a tunnel below the wall, then reappeared on the other side of the wall. They had arrived at the White Paradise!
\'\'Hihihi...\'\' They laughed creepily and stood up while looking around. They were standing in a desolate alley and were hearing the sound of TV blasting from stereos. They could also hear voices.
They exchanged glances and nodded. They crouched and moved sneakily. Soon, they arrived at the windowstool and peered inside the building. They saw three women and one man watching the TV. They looked slightly pale-faced and were cheering for Gabriel\'s victory.
\'\'Hihihi, fresh meat.\'\' The demons slowly opened the window and were prepared to step inside. Then, \'\'spurt\'\' echoed in the dark alleyway and two heads rolled across the pavement.
The demons fell down—headless. They were suddenly attacked from behind and killed!
\'\'As expected. These filthy creatures find ways to cheat.\'\' Archangel Uriel said indifferently. He was Archanger who helped the less fortunate ones. In other words, he was the hero of the poor.
He wasn\'t the only one keeping an eye on other parts of the walls. There were hundreds of eyes on the lookout. They noticed immediately that two demons had entered White Paradise.
Uriel closed the window, unfurled his beautiful white wings, and flew across the air. The alleyway turned dark, leaving behind only two demon corpses and white feathers, which landed on top of the dead-looking heads.
...
In the thousand monitor room.
\'\'Gabriel can\'t keep going on forever.\'\' Chronos said sternly. \'\'He is already starting to overexhaust his brain power. He is going to become even slower from now on.\'\'
Aether sighed and nodded. \'\'Yeah, he can\'t win, it seems. We need to change the war from an individual battle to an army battle. That is the only way we can win. They have stronger individual powers.\'\'
\'\'Should we send someone else to attack Ano? Have tag-team against him?\'\'
"No, the demons would send someone else to help him. Then, our side has even less chance of victory.\'\' Aether gazed at the monitors and soon thought of an idea. \'\'However, if we take down the demons\' army, who are watching the match, Ano has to retreat, and the demons have to send another army. It would again change from an individual to a team battle.\'\'
\'\'How should we do that?\'\'
\'\'Well, now we need sharpshooters.\'\' Aether said. \'\'Send King Klaus, Simo, Apollo, and Vasily Zaytsev to take care of them.\'\'
...
\'\'I got it...\'\' Inside a humble abode, Simo opened his eyes while he was sitting on a poarch. He heard the voice of a god inside his mind, telling him to go finish off the demon army.
He rubbed his head and picked up a sniper rifle from his side and stood up. As he started walking towards the wall, he noticed three other individuals jumping across the air. The first person was a handsome, golden-haired man. There was a bow strapped on his back and he donned a yellow robe with a sun insignia.
The second was King Klaus, holding the black-clothed sniper rifle. And lastly, a brown-haired man, quite handsome, jumped towards the wall with an indifferent expression. However, after seeing Simo, his eyes flashed with some interest.
Simo picked up his pace and soon arrived on top of the wall. The others were already waiting for him.
They exchanged glances before turning towards the vast army. No one had yet to see them arrive.
\'\'Do not miss your shots.\'\' Apollo said sternly. He pulled out his bow and placed five arrows on it. \'\'We have only this one shot. Let\'s kill all of them swiftly.
\'\'...\'\' King Klaus didn\'t answer. He had already started aiming towards the demon army.
Vasily went into a kneeling position and placed the sniper rifle\'s butt against his shoulder. His posture was perfect, while his breathing had turned calm.
Simo copied his stance and relaxed significantly. There was a certain harmonious atmosphere in his every movement. It was like he did everything perfectly. His movements were even more fluid than Vasily\'s.
Vasily caught sight of it and turned silent.
\'\'Fire on my mark.\'\' Apollo took the command. \'\'Three, two, one...\'\'
After saying "one," King Klaus immediately pulled the trigger. Vasily and Simo pulled the triggers at the same time, while Apollo let go of his arrows.
The projectiles rippled through the skies, across the battlefield and past the fighting Ano and Gabriel. Then, the demons saw something flying towards them but couldn\'t react. Apollo\'s arrows drilled through them like they were made of hot butter.
King Klaus\'s bullets shredded through the demon\'s skulls.
Vasily\'s and Simo\'s bullets did the most damage, as their bullets caused wide-spread damage.
After all the attacks were finished, there was only sea of demon corpses left. They managed to kill every single demon in the first army!
