Chapter 564 The Undying Vs The Eternal Darkness (2)
However, it was not enough to stop Dilan just because his head burst open. He had trained himself in Astral Projection to counter such situations.
A Wisp of his Soul escaped his body to view everything around them. Thus, Dilan didn\'t even need eyes, let alone a head to see and process things as he had attained a profound mastery of Astral Projection.
Through his profound mastery of Astral Projection, Dilan\'s Soul could do everything his head would usually do!
That was also why he burst forward even with a headless body. He shrouded his sword in a layer of Destruction and pierced it into Nial\'s abdomen.
His attack was rapid and left no room for Nial to evade the attack. The distance between the two of them was way too little and his speed too fast!
But just when Dilan expected to see Nial\'s blood spurt or the blade dig deep inside his opponent\'s flesh, darkness gushed out of Nial\'s abdomen.
Along with the darkness, a huge hand emerged from Nial\'s abdomen. The huge hand absorbed the impact of the sword thrust, and it even destroyed the layer of destruction the deeper the sword cut inside the hand of darkness.
Dilan pushed backward while Nial opened and clenched his hand once again.
Only two currents of chaos were left swirling around Nial\'s hand but that was more than enough. Dilan\'s heart burst open again just when he retreated backward to allow his body to regenerate properly.
Just when Dilan\'s heart burst open, the huge hand that emerged out of Nial enlarged as more and more of the existence\'s body emerged from within Nial.
Dilan may only be able to see it through his Astral Projection, but what was unveiled to him could only be considered as frustrating, and a cheat-like ability.
\'I guess there are more opponents for me to tackle…\' He thought irritatedly while seeing two existences that were shrouded in darkness emerging from Nial\'s body.
Dilan\'s head had regrown just a second later and a faint smile emerged on his face upon seeing one of the two monsters which he considered Nial\'s subordinates.
\'Looks like he didn\'t lie about the Eternal Darkness and his connection to him.\'
The two darkness monsters were not much different from the Shadow Demon God. The only difference was that the Shadow Demon God was made out of shadows while the darkness monsters were quite literally a product of darkness.
Or, at the very least, they had been corrupted by darkness because Dilan couldn\'t actually tell whether they were completely made out of darkness, or if they had a proper physical body after they emerged from within Nial.
Unfortunately, he was not given the chance to take even a single breath because Nial burst open his head once again.
Not long after his heart was sliced apart even before it could heal properly.
\'Just use up your chaos and damage your body while trying to end me, you annoying pest!\' Dilan grumbled in his mind agitatedly because it was not possible for him to say anything out loud…he was missing his head and tongue, after all.
Using Astral Projection, Dilan attempted to retreat further, but the Demons, or whatever Nial had summoned, didn\'t make things easier for him.
The huge Demon was the being, whose hand had destroyed the destruction layer. The Demon looked like a small Giant that had been corroded by darkness. Currents of that darkness attributed energy oozed from every single pore of his body.
The Giant Demon, which was what Dilan labeled it, charged forward while conjuring a huge mace made out of darkness in his large hand. As for the other Demon, Dilan knew him very well, but that made things only more interesting!
The smaller and slimmer Demon was Kaeldur, the Demon he had summoned when he fought against the Hordes of Chaos and Destruction earlier!
Kaeldur had spoken about some sort of Darkness, and his master being powerful, or something like that. It was something Dilan had already forgotten and only recalled the moment he saw the Demon emerging from the Eternal Darkness\' body.
He was getting more excited when he saw Kaeldur because it made him feel like their fight had been destined to occur long ago.
Dilan tried to recall the words of Kaeldur because he was pretty sure that the Demon had already said that they would fight next time, but he couldn\'t fully remember their conversation.
Right now was not the right time to reminisce about old memories, to begin with.
Nial had used his remaining chaos to give Kaeldur and the Giant Demon the opportunity to attack.
This was exactly what the two Demons were doing while Nial changed his way to attack Dilan. He could tell that the chaos-based attacks were useless.
They would, at most, give him a tiny advantage by disrupting Dilan\'s fighting rhythm. As for the downside, Nial\'s body was not yet ready to handle the chaos properly. He was not unscathed and faced a difficult time enduring the pain his body had been forced to go through when using the chaos.
His body could endure much and he was able to regenerate faster than others but it was, in no way, comparable to the monstrous healing abilities of Dilan.
Not even beings at the Keltia rank were able to survive his attacks that had been reinforced with an ability that amplified the strength of other abilities and energies. Neither had he found an opponent who could survive the Essence of Darkness that was harbored and produced in the Heart of Darkness, the second heart that beat in his body!
Yet, Dilan seemed to be unaffected by almost every single weapon in his arsenal, infuriating him to no end.
"Tear him apart, Tyrant, Kaeldur!" Nial shouted out loud and both the Giant Demon, Tyrant, and Kaeldur burst forward with an intent to follow their master\'s commands.
Yet, just when they thought that Dilan\'s head and heart would require another second to regenerate, his body\'s regeneration accelerate even further.
Dilan had used bits of his mana to enhance Undying\'s regeneration.
"That hurts you bastard!!"
