Chapter 698 First Chaos Obelisk
Dilan could only survive in the Chaos Realm for five months because of his Undying Origin ability. He had been harmed by the Chaos but his body healed faster than he could sustain injuries.
That was also why his fights were so easy to win and how he could return to the flying island in only five months.
He had returned once to hand over the first Chaos Orb that had been filled. Thus, he was only surrounded by four more Chaos Orbs that hovered around his body.
They were filled to the brim and they exuded the pressure known by Chaos.
Dilan attracted lots of attention, mostly because his entire body was covered in dried black blood but he didn\'t pay that much heed.
His first stop was at Old Jeff\'s workshop. A bunch of Lesser Gods, including Old Jeff, were working on the first Chaos Obelisk and Dilan was quite surprised by what he saw.
The Chaos Obelisk was more than fifty meters in length and dark purple in color. The Chaos Obelisk was surrounded by a large foundation that was similarly colored. Yet, there were many differences he could perceive between the Chaos Obelisk and the foundation. The Chaos Obelisk looked more like a lengthy prima with numerous engravings on it. The engravings were azure-blue, blazing-red, and poisonous green in color and the colors overlapped, forming new colors with unique effects.
Dilan could clearly feel a unique pressure exuding from the Chaos Obelisk, which was currently suppressed by the foundation below. The foundation had actually the opposite effect because it was supposed to amplify the power of the Chaos Obelisk and protect it, but that would only be the case once the Chaos Obelisk was properly installed.
As of now, the foundation was what suppressed everything neatly.
"This looks like an Altar of an MMORPG. Only the black braziers with blazing flames at the corners are missing," Dilan joked lightly as he put the Chaos Orbs down.
He looked at the tip of the Chaos Obelisk where he could clearly see the core component of the Obelisk, the Chaos Orb. The Chaos Orb\'s color had changed compared to before. It shone in a dark blue color and didn\'t release any Chaos anymore. There was no pressure left. All Chaos was neatly spread through the Chaos Obelisk and circulated back to the Chaos Orb where it was tightly secured.
"I have no idea what you mean, but these Chaos Obelisks are a pain in the ass…even if we rush things it will be impossible to finish the five of them in a year or two," Old Jeff cursed out while Dilan shrugged his shoulders.
"I prefer quality, though it would be great if you could be done in four or five years." He said and Old Jeff nodded his head before he waved him off.
"Your power distracts me. Don\'t even tell me whether you\'re already at the sixth Tier or not. Just go and deal with the trouble others cannot solve!"
Dilan snickered and he turned away, leaving Old Jeff\'s workshop without saying another word.
"His Divine Essence Crystal is already on the verge of breaking to the sixth Tier…amazing…" One of the Lesser God Archangels mumbled as he glanced at Dilan\'s leaving back. This earned him the glares of more than a dozen pairs of eyes, shutting the nosy Archangel\'s mouth.
After Dilan handed over the Chaos Orbs, he took a look at the Divinity Messenger. The group chat that was only used to see which materials they still lacked to construct the remaining four Chaos Obelisks entered his sight.
\'They got almost everything they could get their hands on, not bad. Looks like Ariel and Sven made decent deals in exchange for the Golden Sagiaratus Vines and the Godkiller Viral poison.
Rory is in the Netherworld realm to get the mana-infused lava from one of the nine Hells\' pits, Yvonne is in the Realm of Death to get the Bone of the Primal Lich King, and the others are also out. Everyone is so busy.\'
Dilan felt like he should give them a helping hand, but when he saw the last message written down in the Material Group chat, he couldn\'t help but frown deeply.
[Dilan, if you read this you\'re probably back in the metropolis. Focus on breaking into the sixth Tier, instead of taking away our jobs!]
Every single member in the group in the chat gave this message an upvote, except Dilan, of course.
He sighed deeply at the content of the message but he simply agreed.
Advancing to the sixth Tier was not easy, especially not since Dilan didn\'t intend to create a faux Divinity. His Divine Essence Crystal could advance one more time but the hurdle that obstructed him was much more obnoxious than ever before.
He was not even sure if devouring a Sun would provide enough Essence for him to break the shackles that restricted him to the fifth Tier.
However, that was fine. He was in possession of the Perfect Essence Cultivation technique and he could use it to make the impossible possible
The process would be slow but the Perfect Essence Cultivation technique allowed him to remove the layers of the shackles that obstructed him from advancing to the sixth Tier.
It was a slow process that required lots of Essences. Fortunately, Dilan\'s proficiency in the Perfect Essence Cultivation technique was the highest in the Universe.
After all, the Soul Shard of the Great Wise was not in this Universe, it was somewhere between the void, wherever that may be.
Dilan found himself in his room and he sat down on the ground, his legs crossed.
He entered a meditative stance after he messaged everyone that he would be in his room if an emergency were to occur. However, everyone who read the message just told him to not be bothered with anything.
Thus, Dilan started his advancement to the sixth Tier as he began to spread out his senses to move the Essence in his surrounding area.
