Chapter 1268: Hidden Dragon Peak
He was worked up, asking Wu Yu enthusiastically about the details. Wu Yu fibbed his way through.
Amidst the intense conversation, Wu Yu suddenly interrupted, "Oh, yes, I heard that an ultimate mystical dragon came to Primordial Immortal Dragon recently from the mortal domain. A Primordial Immortal Dragon, I heard. I’m so envious. To think that there are ultimate mystical dragons even in the mortal domain. As for my life here in the Immortal Dragon Imperial Realm, I’m only a high-tier mystical dragon."
He feigned indifference, but was watching him carefully. He had been through this process many times, and Wu Yu was not holding out much hope.
"What? An ultimate mystical dragon?" Little Left-Right shook his head. "I haven’t heard about that!"
So she wasn’t here!
Wu Yu thought there was hope. Seemed like it was another lemon.
He said glumly, "Perhaps I heard wrongly. Haha...."
He forced out a smile. She wasn’t even in a place like the Primordial Immortal Empire. Where would she be....
Little Left-Right thought about it, then suddenly said, "I haven’t heard of any ultimate mystical dragons, but if you’re talking about Primordial Immortal Dragons, we have three in the Primordial Immortal Empire. The first is the Primordial Immortal Empire’s dragon king - Wu Jun. Second is his younger brother, the Baiyin Dragon King, and his immortal dao companion, the Baiqin Dragon Queen. I heard a few days ago that they took in a mortal domain mystical dragon as their adopted daughter, who is quite something. Her name is Luo Pin, and she’s said to be very beautiful. I haven’t heard what kind of mystical dragon she is though....”
A new lease of life! Or perhaps revival after death!
So news hadn’t spread that Luo Pin was a Primordial Immortal Dragon.
But this guy had even mentioned Luo Pin’s name and that she was a mortal domain mystical dragon. Adopted by a Primordial Immortal Dragon couple as daughter. Even without asking more, Wu Yu could confirm that Luo Pin was in the Primordial Immortal Empire!
Finally, he had found her.
Wu Yu was extremely excited.
Of course, he still had to shake Little Left-Right off first.
"Oh, I see. That adopted daughter is probably a Primordial Immortal Dragon. I’m so envious," Wu Yu said.
"Forget about her, Brother Ao Ding. Tell me, what do you need to prepare to set off on such a journey? After I send an Immortal Message Talisman to my parents, I’m going to run for it. They’ll say no anyway."
He was extremely hyped about this.
Wu Yu patiently let the conversation play out. When he had all the information he needed, Little Left-Right scampered right off.
Wu Yu had also asked some news about the Primordial Immortal Empire.
"So the Hundred Empires Dragon King of the Primordial Immortal Empire is a Primordial Immortal Dragon. No wonder it’s called the Primordial Immortal Empire.
"And then his younger brother and his wife, the Baiyin Dragon King and the Baiqin Dragon Queen, took Luo Pin in as their adopted daughter. Because Luo Pin is a Primordial Immortal Dragon, they should be doting on her. She must be doing fine with dragon kings as her parents and a Hundred Empires Dragon King as her uncle. He’s even the master of the Primordial Immortal Empire.
"Besides them, there are dozens of other dragon kings in the Primordial Immortal Empire. But they all listen to the Primordial Immortal Empire’s dragon king, Wu Jun. This Wu Jun even has the same surname as I do.
"Below them, there are the dragon lords of the Immortal Lord Realm, and then even more Xuan immortals and heavenly immortals below that."
Luo Pin now had a family, and Wu Yu breathed a sigh of relief upon learning that there would be people protecting her. Because the Baiyin Dragon King and his wife had not taken her in as a disciple, but an adopted daughter, it indicated that her treatment was special.
At least he could ascertain that she was not only safe, but in a place of power that recognized her potential. She was like the princess of the Primordial Immortal Empire. After all, the Primordial Immortal Empire’s dragon king had no sons either. Therefore, he would be very fond of Luo Pin. She was the only young Primordial Immortal Dragon, which meant that she was the future of the Primordial Immortal Dragons in the mystical dragon tribe.
Wu Yu’s heart lifted.
He had been worrying for a few months, and finally he could lay that burden down.
Now his goal was to find her and tell her that he was still alive.
Their goal of reuniting in the sky palaces was close to realization!
Of course, the Primordial Immortal Empire was huge, and Wu Yu still had to keep a careful ear out. He needed to know where the Baiyin Dragon King lived, and where Luo Pin might be.
After some asking around, he learned that the mystical dragons that ascended from the mortal domain, or those who were less than one yuan old, would have to spend their first yuan at Hidden Dragon Peak, receiving cultivation guidance from their mystical dragon ancestors.
If one yuan had passed, or they became a 5-Yuan heavenly immortal, they could successfully graduate from Hidden Dragon Peak.
Luo Pin had just ascended, but the mystical dragons would be fair. Although she would be greatly helped by her adoptive parents in cultivation, she would probably follow the rules and go to Hidden Dragon Peak, complying with the instructions of the mystical dragon elders who were responsible for teaching the younger ones. They would also arrange practice fights and the like.
The Sworn-Horn Flying Immortal Dragon from before had spent but a few thousand years before he had successfully graduated from Hidden Dragon Peak.
Wu Yu guessed that Luo Pin was probably at Hidden Dragon Peak.
With his map, he roughly pinpointed where Hidden Dragon Peak was, and headed over.
However, it would be strange for him to infiltrate deep into the Primordial Immortal Empire’s Hidden Dragon Peak as a Burning Life Tribe mystical dragon. The Hidden Dragon Peak was in the core of an empire, and Wu Yu had been moving around the periphery up till now.
Therefore, Wu Yu decided to move in his real body instead. Using the Lawful Embodiment of Heaven and Earth, he shrank himself to the size of a tack and proceeded through this huge world.
There were actually also cultivators in the Immortal Dragon Imperial Realm, although they were very few. In the last few months, Wu Yu had seen two. One looked to be a willing slave of a mystical dragon, while the other was a dao companion of a mystical dragon.
From the memories of Ao Yang and Ao Ding, some mystical dragons had human immortals as their immortal dao companions. But it was rumored that one had to be extremely strong, as the requirements to be a mystical dragon’s immortal dao companion were strict. Besides, one would have to be willing to serve the mystical dragon tribe.
It was like joining the family.
For now, all Wu Yu wanted to do was see her. He did not think that far.
He passed by many mystical dragons before he finally reached Hidden Dragon Peak. This was a lush, green mountain, and all of the vegetation was actually immortal essences. They all had spiritual marks, and were shrouded in immortal fog. Wu Yu could not see how high it was, but he could see that the highest peaks had palaces on top, each built on a super scale in order to fit the bulk of the mystical dragons who lived within.
The sounds of little dragons fighting and huffing could be heard indistinctly, as well as the admonishments of the elders. This was basically a training ground.
"She should be above."
Wu Yu hid in the shadows as he continued moving upwards, traversing through the jungle.
The closer he got, the faster his heart beat. Before, he thought that their reunion in the sky palaces was a faraway dream, but Wu Yu had done it so quickly!
The feeling of a dream coming true.
Luo Pin herself could not expect that Wu Yu would show up so quickly!
Hidden Dragon Peak was very high indeed, and Wu Yu tried his best to be discreet in his small body. There were many experts above, so Wu Yu was very nervous.
Finally, he scaled Hidden Dragon Peak to the peak, where there were many clusters of palaces. In the immortal fog, he saw many mystical dragon statues, carved in vivid and unique styles. The entire place was teeming with flying dragons and dancing phoenixes.
"This place is huge. How do I find her?" Wu Yu was stunned after coming up. After all, the place was too big.
Besides, if he wanted to enter these dragon palaces, there were immortal designs everywhere that would end his life if he wasn’t careful.
He frowned anxiously. He had to think of something.
"It seems like the place is divided into four sectors. It can probably be seen as the sectors for the 1-Yuan heavenly immortals, 2-Yuan heavenly immortals, and so forth since 5-Yuan heavenly immortals can leave this place," Ye Xixi said.
"You’re a clever girl."
Wu Yu understood this after she pointed it out. The dragon palaces were indeed divided into four. This meant that Luo Pin should be in one of the blocks. Logically speaking, the dragon palaces closest to Wu Yu should be where the 1-Yuan heavenly immortals were living.
Luo Pin had not been here for long, and she obviously at the 1-Yuan heavenly immortal realm.
Wu Yu crept towards that area slowly and cautiously, inching ever closer like a falling leaf.
Luckily, there were many trees near the dragon palaces, which provided some cover.
Even if he met Luo Pin, he could not move recklessly, because the ones guiding them would be powerful mystical dragons.
He got closer, and more nervous....
He felt like he could almost smell her scent.
That was how much he missed her.
He landed on a huge tree close to the Hidden Dragon Palace. The view was good from here, and he could see many of the courtyards in the dragon palace. If there were people inside, he would not be able to see them, but if they were outside the palace, he could see all of them clearly.
"That biggest courtyard. Mystical dragons!"
Wu Yu spotted them instantly.
There were about 100 little dragons clustering about. They were making a big fuss, as though venting their anger.
The leader was a huge mystical dragon covered in golden flames. The total mass of all the little dragons did not even match his bulk.
From his aura, he was probably an Immortal Lord Realm dragon lord! This had to be the instructor for the little dragons.
And within the circle, there were two little dragons fighting.
One of them was snow-white, with immortal qi surrounding her. She was a work of beauty, and Wu Yu could confirm that this was Luo Pin, whom he had thought of day and night!
Finally, they had met in the sky palaces.
