Chapter 232
“Wife.”
“Darling.”
“…”
“You can’t run away today.”
Yelena leaned forward with a resolute look in her eye. Her hands pressed against her husband’s chest. There was still a lot of space left on his chest even with both her hands on it.
Yelena gripped Kaywhin’s chest. Her hair, which looked like it was sprinkled with silver dust, softly fell over her shoulders.
For a second, her husband’s body seemed to twitch. Yelena squeezed her thighs around his waist tighter, signaling him to stay still.
A weak moan slipped from Kaywhin’s lips.
“Tell me,” Yelena said.
“…”
“What in the world did you and the crown prince talk about that day in the royal castle!”
It had already been several days since the couple had gone to the royal party. But Yelena still hadn’t heard about what Kaywhin and the crown prince had talked about when the crown prince had summoned him.
Of course, she asked him about it ad nauseum. Just what did the crown prince call you for and what did you talk about?
But whenever she asked, Kaywhin would evade answering, saying he would tell her later, as if telling her now would put him in trouble.
That had been going on for several days.
Yelena could no longer take it. According to her judgment, she had waited long enough.
Yelena looked Kaywhin in the eye with an expression that said she wouldn’t back down, her patience nowhere to be found. Perhaps her patience only ran thin when it came to her husband.
“If you don’t tell me, I’ll stay like this all night.”
“All night…” Kaywhin repeated Yelena’s words in a strained mumble, as if he was struggling. He sounded like he was being tortured, which puzzled Yelena internally. Then, he opened his mouth.
“Very well. I will tell you.”
“Really?”
“Yes, so would you please come down now…”
‘Am I that heavy?’
Yelena slid off her husband’s body, slightly embarrassed. This had been her attempt at threatening him, but she couldn’t have predicted how effective it would be. Yelena slowly got on the bed, feeling disappointed for some reason.
Kaywhin let out a long sigh.
“Was it hard to breathe?”
“I’m sorry?”
“Was I very heavy, I mean.”
Yelena didn’t want to ask this because she was too embarrassed, but the question slipped out after seeing her husband sigh. Yelena felt awkward after asking, so she shut her mouth. Her ears felt a little hot.
Her husband sat up with a flustered look on his face.
“No, not at all.”
“I wasn’t?”
“Why would you think that?”
“Well, because you…”
Yelena contemplated her words and then she just spoke frankly.
“You looked like you were having a hard time.”
“…”
“And you looked like you wished that I would hurry up and get off of you… Well, that’s why.”
Kaywhin chewed on his lip. Yelena waited for him to say something. Seeing that he wasn’t going to, Yelena mumbled quietly.
“You can be honest and say that I’m heavy. Truthfully, it’s not like humans are that light anyway. I won’t get hurt over something like that…”
In truth, Yelena was hurt.
As Yelena’s face reddened, her words were cut short by Kaywhin’s voice.
“It was because it was hard for me to hold back.”
“Hm?”
“Wife…”
Kaywhin stopped what he was saying. He lightly wiped his face with his palm and then continued.
“You were touching me, so it was hard to hold back… That’s why I looked like I was having a hard time.”
Yelena couldn’t tell if she was imagining it, or if her husband’s neck was turning red.
“What was?”
“…”
“What was hard to hold back?” Yelena asked, sounding like she was bewitched. Then, she suddenly remembered.
Come to think of it, last time, when she had sat on her husband’s lap and kissed him. And just now, when she sat on top of him.
She felt… something blunt pressing against her.
Something blunt and hard…
“Ah,” Yelena exhaled foolishly.
In the castle library, Yelena had diligently read numerous books about the deep nights that men and women shared. The books had described in great detail what changes occurred to a man’s body when he was aroused.
“Ah, that… Ah,” Yelena floundered and then closed her mouth.
A silence fell over the bedroom. It was an extremely awkward silence.
Unconsciously, Yelena’s eyes shifted.
