Chapter 501-Arch Demon
Chapter 501-Arch Demon
Demon Kings, the original demons, were the bearers of primordial sins, embodying the very essence of the Demon God\'s creation.
Their existence preceded all others in the demonic hierarchy. Leon knew such things because his master nurtured him, and he was destined to be brought by his master to the Abyss as a candidate hero to a demon Lord whom his master served.
He learned from his master that he had a strange physique called Demonic Golden Body that could manipulate gold elements, perfectly fitting for his power as a metal cultivator.
This inherent gift aligned perfectly with his affinity for metal manipulation, endearing him to his master\'s favor and protection.
He remained low-key and hid his strength in fear of being detected by Angels, knowing that he had a physique originating from demons.
He learned from his master that angels are not as benevolent as others describe them, and they are ready to slaughter anyone who can threaten them. In some cases, some angels were brutal and used lower races for their disposal.
Behind the angels\' innocent faces, they were even more terrifying than other races. Angels have abandoned humans, which is why they have a hard time facing demons.
....
Naga stopped for a while, hearing his words, and Leon kept shouting for help.
"Master, help me!"
"Save me from this witch!"
He continued shouting until he realized that his master was not responding.
"What is happening?" he exclaimed, feeling intense pain but realizing his master was not responding.
Even Naga, confused, realized he might be bluffing as he was stalling for time.
"Hehe, are you looking for him?"
Suddenly, the 5-meter-tall Xegron appeared in front of Dave, holding the head of a demon with 3 horns on its forehead, its face looking terrified as if suffering from torture.
"Ma..Master?"
Leon was shocked, seeing his master\'s head in Xegron\'s hands.
Muller and Naga were stunned, but seeing Xegron near Dave made them realize he was not an enemy.
"Master, I accomplished the mission. Should I kill that guy as well?"
Xegron said calmly, as if what he had done was as easy as breathing.
The demon general he slew was one of the fiercest demons in the demon realm, yet he acted like he didn\'t break a sweat killing such a formidable foe.
"Nope, let her do the work," Dave smiled.
He knew Xegron could kill the guy protecting Leon from the dark, so he instructed him to strike, causing Leon to feel despair.
Leon truly felt despair, unable to believe his master\'s head was cut off.
"No! It can\'t be true. It must be an illusion."
"There\'s no way my master could be killed."
"Haha, that\'s right. It must be an illusion," he shouted, appearing crazed, but Naga paid him no mind, swiftly decapitating him. Both master and disciple lost their heads.
"Stand back, Naga," Dave said calmly, and she reacted swiftly, moving near him without hesitation or doubt, leaving her original place.
She realized she felt safe near him, a feeling that troubled her, as she never relied on others\' protection except for her father.
"Hehe, just watch. A good show will happen," Dave reassured Muller, knowing they were still nervous.
Boom!
Suddenly, Leon\'s body was blasted as he died undergoing bloodline awakening.
"Imbecile! How dare you cross the line," a strong presence exclaimed, appearing like a projection after Leon\'s body exploded.
It was a projection of a 10-meter-tall demon with a Golden Body, two spiky horns on his forehead, and four golden dark wings on his back.
"Oh! So you are the originator of his bloodline? Hmm, an Arch Demon, huh?"
"So you are called Gracik, the Golden Demon."
Dave, who had already gleaned a lot of information from the demon in just one glance with his chaotic eyes, spoke with interest.
"Who are you? How do you know who I am?"
The demon was stunned, asking with a wary tone as he realized the handsome human in front of him was not simple.
He had not appeared for many years, and he was in his true form now, making it hard to recognize him.
He also felt threatened by the guy near the human, as if he were a mortal enemy. His feeling was true because demons were preyed upon by the Zerg Race, and the Zerg were preyed upon by demons as well.
The only race the Zerg Race feared was the Dragon Race because of their dragon flames, which is the weakness of the Zerg Race.
Also, his senses told him that Dave\'s energy had not yet reached the level on par with his, but his survival instinct warned him that Dave was more dangerous than Xegron.
Hearing Dave\'s words, Muller and Naga were shocked. They knew some things about demons but didn\'t expect to meet an Arch Demon whose ranking was below terrifying beings like Demon Lords.
An Arch Demon can reach the level of Celestial Immortals and have the same level as demon lords, but they are weaker than demon lords who control the power of sins.
It is said that to evolve into an Arch Demon, one must live for a million years and devour a lot of souls.
The Abyss is full of fighting and killing, and the cycle never stopped since the creation of the Abyss.
"Imbecile, how dare you not kneel in front of my lord,"
Xegron exclaimed, looking at the demon Gracik without fear, even though the demon in front of him had a higher cultivation than him.
The demon in front of them was just a projection of its true body, so it was not as powerful as its true form.
"Heh, a mere insect wants me to kneel?"
His words were not just for Xegron, but for everyone present, and his arrogance overflowed from his body.
"Hoh, a demon of pride, huh? But your pride can\'t back up your strength," Xegron laughed.
The demon in front of him was a true Celestial Immortal, surpassing the Transcendental being, yet he showed no fear.
His body exuded the aura of destruction, death, slaughter, and chaos as he grew way taller than the demon, reaching 20 meters tall.
A black star tattoo appeared on his forehead. His body was covered with black armor, ready to fight. His energy rose by many times, and his body burst with power.
"What? Such power," the demon was shocked, realizing that even though Xegron was clearly just a Transcendental Being, his prowess exceeded any transcendental beings he knew.Nôv(el)B\\\\jnn
