Immortal of the Ages

Chapter 104 - Little Primordial Immortal Ancestor

Chapter 104 - Little Primordial Immortal Ancestor

"Go! Let me get a closer look at her, probe her secrets." A faint gleam sparked in Blue Star's eyes.

"Very well, I'll meet her."

With a solitary ascent, Yun Xiao found himself at the very top of the Spirit Treasure Walk.

With but a single glance upon his arrival, he discerned the distinctive air enveloping the top floor—decadently adorned yet exuding an air of refinement, permeated with an ancient charm, brimming with immortal aura, where veils of white mist intertwined, as if one had stepped into a celestial palace amongst the clouds.

Before him lay the Divine Dawn Pavilion! The massive doors of the Divine Dawn Pavilion lay agape, within which wafted a subtle, refined sandalwood fragrance. Yun Xiao, opting against the formality of knocking, stepped within.

Before him, an expansive balcony, protruding into the white mist of the Azure Kite Sea, presented itself. Atop it stood a silhouette, cloaked in dazzling white, resembling a celestial maiden adrift amidst the clouds, her back to Yun Xiao.

Her silhouette was a dreamlike vision.

Yun Xiao, robed in unblemished white, and she, draped in a snow-white pearl skirt, exuded an ethereal, solitary coldness, seemingly melding with the surrounding mist... at the very least, in temperament, they seemed a fitting pair.

"Have you arrived?" At that moment, the maiden in the white skirt, sensing his movements, turned to face him.

"I have." Yun Xiao had anticipated she’d still be veiling herself with that white tiger mask. However, what turned to face him was a countenance of transcendent, celestial beauty!

The maiden before him boasted a slender, delicately captivating form, with locks cascading like a waterfall. Her features were exquisitely delicate, her face reminiscent of blooming peach blossoms, pearls and jade seemed to form her visage, her skin as tenderly pale as snow, embodying a chilly jade-like beauty.

Beneath the mist, her slender waist swayed gently, akin to willows caressing one’s face. Her voice just now, was a soft, delicate melody, and now, as her enchanting eyes flicked towards him, those eyes were like an immortal palace above the clouds, mysterious and pure, irresistibly striking a chord within the observer!

In a single word—exquisite!

In five—a flawless and fair beauty!

Everything about her was just right, not too much nor too little, fulfilling all of Yun Xiao's mortal imaginings of an Immortal.

Fortunately, having recently admired his own reflection quite a bit, Yun Xiao managed to maintain a calm demeanor, even when confronted with such unexpected beauty. But Blue Star and Red Moon, his hidden companions, were beside themselves with excitement!

“That little white tiger, oh, how adorable!” Blue Star whispered, barely containing a squee.

“Think she's got some demon milk?” Red Moon pondered aloud, peering around.

“You, the hell is wrong with you! It’s still a cub!” Blue Star retorted, flustered.

“Bluey, we don't have a pair, right?” Red Moon asked, puzzled.

“I’ve secretly grown one!” Blue Star confided with a cheeky grin.

Yun Xiao nearly passed out! Would it kill those two not to ruin the mood with their banter at least once?

Despite the excited chatter inside, Yun Xiao’s expression remained solemn and serene from start to finish.

He locked eyes with the girl in the white dress, a calm exchange of silent mutual appraisal. She, too, took a few moments to observe him up close, gently caressing the little white tiger in her arms, and softly stated, “I heard you slew Lin Chen.”

Her voice, gentle and lilting, was like the melodious song of a warbling oriole.

“Yes,” Yun Xiao replied simply.

“This is for you.” The girl produced a piece of white jade from her embrace. The jade glided in a straight line towards Yun Xiao, displaying her terrifyingly precise control over her magic power.

“What is this?” Yun Xiao caught the jade, inspecting the words War of Immortals engraved on its surface.

“A War Jade. With it, you can represent the Sword Realm in the War of Immortals in the Heavenly Realm,” she explained gently, leaning lightly against the railing, her gaze lost in the misty clouds over the Sea of Swords. A gentle breeze caressed her hair, painting a picture as if a banished Immortal had descended to the mortal realm.

"Sword Realm?" Turning the War Jade over, Yun Xiao did indeed find the words Sword Realm inscribed upon it!

“In the Immortal Empire of the Heavenly Realm, the domain spanning the Sea of Swords, the Grand Wasteland, and the Thousand Mortal Nations are collectively known as the Sword Realm, renowned for producing Sword Cultivators,” the girl whispered softly.

“So, there are no Sword Cultivators elsewhere?” Yun Xiao inquired.

“There are, but not many.”

“Are you a Sword Cultivator?” he asked again.

“I am not,” she replied.

“Alright, I understand!” Yun Xiao pursed his lips, “But why should I go to war?”

"This is your only chance to ascend to the Heavenly Realm quickly. And in the Heavenly Realm, you can have anything you want," the girl in white explained.

Indeed, Seeds of Creation like her were plenty in the Heavenly Realm!

To resurrect the Creator Immortal, to soar on the Immortal Path, Yun Xun required a stepping stone!

And the Heavenly Realm was the optimal stepping stone!

"Will you go?" the girl in white asked.

"I will," Yun Xiao was succinct, "When do we depart?"

"In three days," she replied.

Ye Guying would leave his closed-door cultivation two days later. The timing posed no issues.

"How many will go?" Yun Xiao pressed further.

"Me, and those who survive," she stated evenly, her gaze unwavering.

She seemed a person devoid of expression, perpetually cold and profound from beginning to end.

Survivors? Clearly, she knew of Yun Xiao's dispute with the Sea of Swords, but from the sound of it, she had no intention of intervening, which also evidenced that she was no ordinary being.

"May I ask if Miss Chen Xi is an Immortal descending from the Heavenly Realm?" Yun Xiao, curling a slight smile, inquired.

"A descending Immortal?" Her expression took a peculiar turn.

"What is your status in the Heavenly Realm?" he pressed.

"Immortal Empire, aristocratic family, legitimate daughter," she supplied three consecutive terms.

"Why come to the Sea of Swords?" he looked into her eyes.

She looked back. "You ask a lot of questions."

"Before going to war, I should get to know my teammates a bit." Yun Xiao smiled.

"If I said I'm avoiding a marriage proposal, would you believe me?" she asked.

"It's cliché, but yes, I believe you!" Yun Xiao nodded.

"But I was lying to you!" Suddenly, she chuckled.

Only then did Yun Xiao notice, she had two small dimples, which, when she laughed, added a playful mischief to her demeanor.

Yun Xiao also allowed a smile, then bowed slightly, "In that case, thank you, Miss Chen Xi, for providing me an opportunity to make a name for myself on the battlefields of the Heavenly Realm!"

"You're welcome! The lineage of Sword Cultivators needs a genius to stabilize the Immortal Empire. You hold great promise." Despite her young age, her tone carried the commanding assurance of an Emperor orchestrating strategies behind veiled curtains.

"I've nothing more to do here, so I'll be taking my leave!" Yun Xiao declared.

"See you in three days," the girl, her gaze lingering on him, whispered, "I hope it will be you who comes, not Ye Guying."

"Why?" Yun Xiao inquired.

"Because you are far more pleasant to look at than he is," she responded, a subtle mischief playing on her words.

"..." Yun Xiao was at a loss for words.

After Yun Xiao departed, the doors of the Divine Dawn Pavilion gently shut themselves.

BANG! The moment the doors sealed, a soft, crimson blush swept across the fair-skinned girl's visage.

"The power of the Yang Void... truly comforting," she murmured.

The small white tiger, stretching its petite, striped frame, nonchalantly remarked, "How fortunate! You're truly on the path to great wealth!"

She cast it a sidelong glance before languidly reclining upon the vast bed, her gaze vacant and distant.

Undeterred, the small white tiger pranced onto her chest, speaking with zealous animation. "Three times in total! The first time, you only need to grant him a tenth of your Yin Void magic power. The second time, give him a third. By planting seeds in such a manner, with your Yin Void power acting as a catalyst, the harmonization of Yin and Yang will cause his magic power to explosively inflate, his realm soaring! By the third time, you shall reap the harvest!"

"And how would I harvest?" she quietly asked, a ripple of unease crossing her features.

"Of course," the little tiger announced, a flicker of cunning in its eyes, "by reclaiming all the magic power you dispatched to him, and then some. Let him surrender all his Yang Void power to you! So, merely through these three cycles of cultivation, you shall inevitably break through your shackles, making history in the Heavenly Realm!"

"Oh!" With a muffled sound, the girl grabbed a pillow, smothering her own face with it.

"Lil Xi, what is this? Shyness?" The white tiger shook its head, a bemused look in its eyes. "No need for it. This is simply a normal act of procreation! If you do not wish to conceive, you could always neuter him first! Yes, neutering is good! No fuss!"

"Enough!" With a swift motion, she sent it flying with a smack.

Landing with a tumbling roll, the small white tiger couldn't contain its chuckles. "Tsk, tsk, wealth is on the horizon!"

?ι══????????══ι?

"Creator!"

While Yun Xiao was still descending the staircase, Blue Star couldn't contain his enthusiasm. "What luck! You're going to strike it rich!"

"How so?" Yun Xiao inquired, his tone light and unassuming.

"The method she cultivates is a derivative of the Primordial Void Technique, which has forged her Yin Void magic power. If you seize this opportunity and use the Seed of Creation as a cauldron, your Yang Void magic power can skyrocket, saving you a lot of initial effort! For you, this woman is a tiny Primordial Immortal Ancestor!" Blue Star chuckled nefariously.

"Primordial Immortal Ancestor?" Yun Xiao was taken aback, having not anticipated the rapid fulfillment of their previous discussion.

"Exactly!"

Yun Xiao pondered for a moment, then spoke. "Let's not be hasty! She's probably stronger than me."

"No shit! If she were to unseal her cultivation, she'd be tens of thousands of miles ahead of you. So, at this stage, you absolutely cannot force anything upon her!" Blue Star declared, his face smeared with disdain.

"Force?" Yun Xiao's vision darkened for a moment, "Exactly how does one cultivate using this so-called cauldron of yours?"

"What do you think?" Blue Star raised an eyebrow, "Like you and your Senior Sister Zhao."

Yun Xiao's vision faltered again. "That.. doesn’t seem appropriate, does it?"

"Whether it’s appropriate isn’t for you to decide," Blue Star cackled wickedly.

"Why?" Yun Xiao asked.

"Do you know why she's taken such an interest in you?" Blue Star said with a sly grin.

"Because of my handsome features?" Yun Xiao replied.

"As if! It's because that little white tiger surely thinks the Holy Maiden's cultivation method is more profound than yours, considering you as her furnace!" Blue Star scoffed with a mischievous twinkle in his eyes.

"Is she planning something against me?" Yun Xiao stood there, dumbstruck.

"A hundred percent!" Blue Star asserted with certainty.

"And how will she proceed?" Yun Xiao inquired, eyes shadowed with intrigue.

"In three parts!" Blue Star declared.

"Three?"

"Exactly! Three parts, a cycle. First, she'll infuse you with a tenth of her power! Allowing you to reap the benefits of a rapid rise in realm after the fusion of Yin and Yang Voids, accumulating a mass of magic power. Second, she’ll infuse a third of her Yin Void power into you, causing a surge in your strength!" Blue Star’s gaze was distant yet deep.

"So many benefits? What about the third time?" Yun Xiao questioned, genuinely curious.

"On the third time, you'll turn the tables, seizing all her magic power, and your strength will skyrocket! All her meticulous plans will go down the drain! It’ll be like lifting a rock only to drop it on her own feet! Hehehe!" Blue Star stood, hands on hips, triumphant.

"Hysterical! Our Creator has new delicacies to savor!" Red Moon also cackled with unrestrained amusement.

Yun Xiao was rendered speechless!

Wasn’t this just another Sword Lord?

"Enough, both of you!" Yun Xiao, perpetually with an austere demeanor, fixed his gaze on Blue Star and asked earnestly, "After the third time, will she die?"

"Nope, she'll just be drained of her magic power! At fifteen, with such power, a few more years of cultivation and she’ll be back. By then, you'll be stronger and can force-harvest another round!" Blue Star was beside himself with excitement, feeling that a great deal of effort could be saved, and all the hard work in refining the Heavenly Dao Sariras for Yun Xiao was worthwhile.

"So, you’re in luck! Bumping into such a top-notch, little Primordial Immortal Ancestor is pure fortune!"

"Forget it," Yun Xiao suddenly uttered, his voice barely above a whisper.

"Why?" Blue Star and Red Moon were both bewildered.

"She is the legitimate daughter of a noble family from the Heavenly Realm, not that strong, right? What can one-tenth of the Yin Void power do?" Yun Xiao mused, a serene air about him.

"Don’t listen to her nonsense, she is the Divine Dawn Empress!" Blue Star rolled its eyes dramatically, "Even a tenth of her Yin Void power could utterly destroy you!"
