Chapter 186: Lunch Together
Perhaps she was waiting for the President and Vice President to come out of the White House.
David saw quite a lot of cars arriving today, so there must be a big meeting among the officials.
"Are you doing this just so you can take the position of President?" David asked Alice.
It was a good time to talk as the car stopped while they did nothing.
He wanted to know the reasons and plans of the Morgan Family.
Alice's eyes instantly turned to David since the latter asked her about it.
"You want to know too much, no need to think about other people's wishes," she said.
As usual, she replied with harsh words.
If it wasn't for the fact that she had booked a room for them, David would have taken action against her.
Offended, he chose not to say anything more.
"Hmph, and now you're sulking," Alice said, insinuating David again, making his eyes widen.

"Who are you calling sulking?" asked David in a high tone. Even his back straightened.
He chose silence because he didn't want to keep hearing her nonsense. Who would have thought that she would think that he was sulking.
This was unacceptable.
Alice apparently did not respond anymore.
She looked back at the White House.
This time, David didn't continue the matter either because there was now a group of cars coming out of the palace, including the President and Vice President's cars. The rest were the cars of the ministers including the Military Generals.
David wondered where they wanted to go. After all, it was very rare for there to be a case like this where officials gathered and then left together.
Alice just kept watching without asking Mira to follow them.
Apparently she took out two bullets.
Blood came out from inside her fingernails, enveloping the two bullets.
After that, they were able to float in the air.
Alice then lowered the window beside her, letting the two bullets out of the car.
They continued to fly, higher until they were no longer visible.
If there were no spiritual beings guarding the President and Vice President, David was worried that there was really no way for them to survive.
The person targeting them was a very powerful vampire. The bodyguards they had prepared that they thought could protect them from any threats were practically useless.
"Let's go," Alice said to Mira.
The latter nodded and turned around, not heading the way the President and his entourage were heading.
It seemed that she could control the two bullets from a long distance so that she didn't need to continue being there.
David frowned as he couldn't watch live. Now he could only wait for the news on his cell phone.
Their next destination was a traditional restaurant selling European cuisine with lots of wine arranged on the walls.
After the car stopped, Alice immediately got out of the car, heading to the restaurant. She didn't say anything to David.
Mira, on the other hand, remained seated in her seat after she turned off the car engine.
With a furrowed brow, David got out of the car and followed Alice.
She was being greeted by the boss of the restaurant who was a rather old man. Probably almost in his 60s.
"Lady Alice, it's been a while since you came, I thought you didn't like the food and wine in my restaurant anymore," he said when Alice arrived in front of him.
"I've been busy lately, and you know that only your restaurant can calm my bad mood," Alice replied.
She didn't stop her pace, going straight to a table.
"Looks like you're in a bad mood, don't worry, I'll prepare your best meal to put you back in a good mood," said the old man, continuing to smile as he followed Alice.
David who heard their conversation rolled his eyes while wondering if he was the one who put her in a bad mood.
Since he also chose the same table as Alice, the restaurant boss finally realized that he came with Alice.
"Lady Alice, is he your nephew?" the boss asked.
He was suspicious like that because he also realized that David had powers and was stronger than him although he was not sure if he was a vampire or a spiritual being.
Because of their age, they did look like aunt and nephew.
And the nephews were naturally the young men of the Morgan Family.
He did not have any strange thoughts like they were lovers.
And that question somewhat made Alice hesitate to answer.
Perhaps she could be open and indifferent in front of the Morgan Family members. However, this could not be said in front of outsiders.
Of course, for David, this was fine to say to anyone. He also doesn't like their relationship being misunderstood.
"We're lovers," he said.
When he actually said that, Alice had no choice but to look the other way.
Although she remained cold and indifferent, not blushing at all, David guessed that she might be a bit panicked.
On the other hand, the old man froze with his mouth open, not expecting to hear such a thing from David.
Unfortunately, there was no rebuttal from Alice. She just sat quietly staring at the table.
From her expression, it could be confirmed that David wasn't lying at all. They really were lovers.
But how is that possible?
As the question popped into his head, the boss shook his head, thinking that nothing was impossible when a man and a woman were already in love.
He smiled even though he felt this was a strange relationship.
"Congratulations Lady Alice, you are finally not alone anymore as you have a dashing man to accompany you through your days." The boss congratulated her because he thought that this was a pure relationship.
He didn't think there was any way to make Alice the lover of a man unless Alice herself liked the man.
As Alice's lips moved, the boss added, "please wait a moment, today, you don't have to pay. Think of it as a gift from me."
After saying that, the boss finally stepped into the kitchen.
David who was sitting opposite Alice nudged the woman's leg so that she looked up at him.
"Why don't you look happy?" asked David with a sullen expression.
"Happiness will only come from beautiful things. I don't see or feel beautiful things right now," Alice replied, not bothering to tell him her thoughts so he rolled his eyes.
"It seems that you really don't take our relationship seriously," David said after hearing her answer.
Of course, they could make love, but that didn't indicate the seriousness of the relationship. After all, many couples who got married through an arranged marriage still didn't love each other even after they had grandchildren.
David somewhat regretted having previously called Alice a good wife.
Of course, being ignored like this only made David want to subdue her even more, which started with pressing her down on the bed.
"You will see and feel those things tonight," David said again.
"I hope so," Alice replied.
Her mind became unpredictable for David because when talking about the evening where they would spend the night together, she said that she hoped to see and feel the wonderful things promised by David.
Right after that, the two male waiters in professional attire came in with a tray on which there were two cups and three bottles of different types of wine.
Both looked very polite, placing the tray on the table.
"Have a drink first, lady, sir," they said simultaneously before stepping back and returning to the kitchen.
Occasionally, they glanced at David. Perhaps they were familiar with Alice and already knew her relationship with David.
Since they were ordinary people, so they felt that David was a man with an unimaginable fate for being the lover of a woman like Alice who was practically twice as old as him.
Alice, who seemed to have a penchant for wine, immediately opened the bottles of wine.
Uniquely, she mixed the three wines, making the color very black while the aroma became very dense.
"Can you help me pour these wines? I'm sure they taste even more amazing when you do it," David said, pointing his cup at her.
He wanted the same combination of wines as Alice, and without a doubt the measurements would be different if he poured the wines himself. A difference of two or three drops might result in a different flavor.
Alice gave him a sharp look because of his request. She was definitely the type of woman who did not like being asked to do things.
However, it was probably because she didn't want David to act weird, so she complied with his request, pouring one wine after another into her cup.
It just so happened that while she was doing that, the boss of the restaurant ended up coming with two male waiters earlier, carrying dishes that appeared to have just been cooked.
