Earth's Alpha Prime

Chapter 191: FIEND RACE.

Two other individuals with similar massive stature appeared out of thin air beside the throne.

They both bowed and greeted the individual on the throne. The one with a bulky frame and heavy war hammer hanging on his back took the lead with confidence all over his face.

"Lord Bazil, now that everything is set in motion, all we have to do is wait for all the pieces to fall into place before making a move during the 1st Tournament. By the time those damn Sentinels realised what had happened, it would be too late for them to do anything.

Just thinking about those annoying Sentinels gives me a headache. If it weren\'t for the System, I would have thrashed the newly risen Tier-10 Sentinel in the previous century\'s Galactic Siege."

The one with a pale frame and an ancient-looking Tome in his hand gave a condescending look at the one beside him, "General Ghora, given your Fiend Bloodline purity, reaching Tier-10 would have been a miracle for you if it weren\'t for the Grade-10 Innate Talent you obtained from the System. Yet, here you are, blaming the System for your incompetence."

Those words seemed to hit the weak spot as Ghora bellowed at his fellow Fiend Sovereign, "Don\'t you look down on me, Minister Tritos! If you have guts, why don\'t you take it out with the Sentinels in the upcoming battle? Let\'s see if your cheap trickery could do anything to them. After all, aren\'t you the only living Unique Innate Talent User in the entire Universe to reach Tier-10?"

To which, Tritos didn\'t show any trace of anger at Ghora\'s provocation and threw a casual smile, which only annoyed the other party even more.

Before Ghora could throw another insult at Tritos, the Fiend Overlord, Bazil, stepped in and intervened, "As you very well know, his DreamCodex Innate Talent is practically ineffective against the System\'s Halo all the Sentinels have. Still, his contribution to the Fiend Race is second only to mine. Did you ever guess why?"

Ghora hesitantly replied, "Isn\'t it because of his ability to imprison one\'s consciousness within their dreams, basically making anyone weaker than him a living corpse?"

The Fiend Overlord simply gave a meaningful look but didn\'t speak his mind and instead diverted the topic of the conversation.

"Ghora, you take the 98th Elite Fiend Division, and when the time arrives, deal with the Sentinel Army at the Zephyr Galactic Cluster. Make sure to stall long enough for the plan to work."

Ghora responded with a deep bow, "As you command, my Lord."

He then turned to Tritos, "You heard Lord Bazil. Let me out of the Dream Space now."

"Sure, I will let you out, but why don\'t we spar a little to clear our misunderstanding? Let our strength speak for ourselves in the traditional Fiend way."

That left Ghora at a loss for words. He was well aware of the notoriety that followed Tritos. Almost all the top Fiend Powerhouses were crushed to their defeat under the pretence of a friendly spar.

Using the undefendable abilities of his DreamCodex Innate Talent, Tritos stepped on the others and climbed the hierarchy, reaching his current position.

Ghora didn\'t dare to accept the spar when even his direct superior, the Fiend Army Commander General, was a victim of the \'spar scheme\'.

If not for the System Halo, just Tritos alone would be a nightmare for the Sentinels and the Fiends\' everlong goal to take over the Universe would have been a lot more smooth sailing.

Not willing to fall for his provocation, Ghora came up with an excuse, "We shall do that some other time. Right now, I have War preparations to take care of."

Tritos didn\'t push him further and laughed it off before sending Ghora\'s consciousness out from the Dream Space.

The Dream Space was an Innate Exclusive Skill that allowed Tritos to create an independent Space out of intangible Dreams.

Within that space, the Fiend Sovereigns assemble to exchange sensitive information despite being millions of light-years away from each other.

After all, they couldn\'t use the System\'s UltraNet to communicate since their plans would be foiled by the Sentinels, who could monitor them through the System.

In the grand hierarchy scale, even the top Universe-level Hegemonies couldn\'t hold a candle in front of the two major Superpowers, the Fiends and Sentinels.

While the Universe-level Hegemonies have two or at most three Sovereigns, the Fiends and Sentinels each have hundreds of them in their ranks. That alone was a testament to the difference in overall power.

Ever since the 1st known Civilisation in the Universe, those two had been the two unwavering powerhouses in the 13.7 billion years lifespan of the Universe.

As the Race that possessed one of the strongest Bloodlines in the Universe, the Fiends grew power-hungry to rule over the entire Universe.

They began by eradicating the bloodlines that could obstruct them from conquering every Galaxy they had set their eyes on.

As if the near-indestructible body wasn\'t enough, the Fiend Bloodline granted them the domineering ability to command any lifeform that didn\'t reach certain sentience standards.

Such lifeforms constitute more than three-fourths of almost every life planet. Turning such lifeforms into monsters that crave blood and destruction, the Fiend Race created massive armies with them as footsoldiers and waged wars.

They have succeeded in eradicating the powerful Bloodline races that could challenge them, but by doing so, they have tipped the balance of the Universe, enabling the System to step in and restore order.

That was when a new powerhouse Organisation named \'Sentinel Order\' came into existence.
