Chapter 489: Pride and Bias
There were five classes - four were the Ziyun classes, and one was the Liuyun class. All students in Ziyun classes were genius and elites, and thus, they were powerful and capable.
The students in the Liuyun class, on the other hand, were filled with problematic students who were weak.
As the strong usually despise the weak, the students in the Liuyun class were not popular at the Tianju Hall. The students of Ziyun classes even privately referred to them as the rubbish of the Tianju Hall.
Of course, as the school was known as elite school, the students from the Liuyun class were still considered geniuses when they returned to their respective kingdoms. But they were bullied here.
The students had to depend on their ability here, and one would still be bullied even if he were a prince.
As Gu Xijiu wanted to come, she had already dug out information from the Firmament Stone and knew the differences between the two classes.
She thought she would most probably be distributed to Liuyun Class, but she did not expect that she could not become an official student.
This teenager in front of Gu Xijiu must be the last in the class and was usually bullied. Since he found a listener/observer who was also an unofficial student, he probably wanted to prove himself.
Though Gu Xijiu’s biological age was younger than 15 years old, her mental age was much older. Besides, she had never seen herself as a kid. Hence, she would not bother arguing with a childish teenager.
Furthermore, he was not truly bad, and he looked quite cute when he was bundling the weeds.
"Your movements are very peculiar, what type of kung fu is it? Did The Lord teach it to you?" The teenager started a conversation.
Gu Xijiu just replied with one word, "No."
"Then who did you learn from?" The teenager persisted.
"Do you want to learn?" Gu Xijiu asked back.
The teenager’s pride got in the way, "No! I don’t want to learn kungfu from an unofficial student like you! I’m just rather curious."
"Then, I’m not obliged to answer your question." Gu Xijiu ignored him.
After a while, the teenager could not help but speak again, "I think your kung fu is relatively good but not your aptitude. You will be bullied here... It would be better if you go back to the best school in your country..."
Gu Xijiu laughed, "You’re saying as if you aren’t being bullied at all. Why aren’t you leaving as well?"
The teenager almost jumped as if his foot was being stepped on, "Nonsense! Who dares to bully me? My aptitude is high. I was born with level six wood talent, and I’ve always been known as a genius. All clans wanted to have me during those days..."
"Oh, but you are still in the Liuyun class." Gu Xijiu teased leisurely.
The teenager choked at that moment. His mouth was ajar as he rebutted, "You know what, I just don’t want to be too tired..."
"Oh, really." Gu Xijiu smiled and stopped talking.
As the two of them were working together, they managed to move ahead quickly. Gu Xijiu let the teenager pass her the bundles from the ground while she laid them on the roof layer by layers.
The teenager remembered the steps of laying after he observed for a while and said, "Come down, I’ll go up and lay! This is supposed to be a man’s job."
Gu Xijiu frowned as she felt that the teenager was indeed a male chauvinist.
Therefore, she simply jumped to the ground and said, "Great, you’re a man, you do it then."
The teenager was quite excited and felt that he was becoming an adult. He flew to the roof and started working.
