Chapter 197 - Pei Pei, You Should Turn 18 Tonight
Before he was together with Fu Sichen, Pei Zhen never really cared about Valentine’s Day or Chinese Valentine’s Day.
Since they became an item, things had been different.
Even the 11th of November had become a day to mark out the singles. Hence, a day such as the Chinese Valentine’s day couldn’t possibly go without special activities.
Pei Zhen reflected on all the knowledge he had gathered thus far on the steps to getting laid. God knew where his courage and confidence were coming from, but he was feeling extremely puffed up and high.
He lifted his hand with aplomb. “Drink up, drink all you can. We’ll not go home until we’re drunk!”
Fu Sichen was surprised.
He had no idea what his young boyfriend was thinking, for if he did, he’d have stripped Pei Zhen’s pants off right away and topped him there and then.
Drinking was necessary, but it shouldn’t be overboard. Fu Sichen had made a calculated measure and ordered just enough to get Little Brat Pei drunk.
One could see why the restaurant’s wine was so highly-acclaimed.
One wouldn’t feel the effect after the first few sips, but after a glass, it kicked in. Pei Zhen’s eyes grew misty, and his gaze rested on Fu Sichen’s hand.
Fu Sichen wore his sleeves folded upwards, and Pei Zhen spied the bracelet on his wrist—the red bean was sitting on his wristbone, and his skin was pale against its bright color.
“You’re really wearing the bracelet.” Pei Zhen’s handsome face was a shade of light red, and it was hard to tell if he was drunk on alcohol or drunk on love. “I really sucked at putting that bracelet together.”
The corners of Fu Sichen’s lips turned upwards to form a slight smile. He took a sip of wine and asked, “But how does it look on me?”
“….Looks good,” Pei Zhen said.
It was baffling how Fu Sichen turned out to be so stunning.
His face looked stunning, his physique was stunning, and the red bracelet didn’t even look girly. Instead, he made it look good.
“Then, that’s more than enough.” Fu Sichen placed his wine glass on the table, and then, as if by magic, he took out a box of chocolate bites. “Thank you for the Valentine’s Day gift. As a return gift, I made this for you.”
It was Fu Sichen’s first attempt at making chocolate bites, but that didn’t faze the talented genius a bit. He even adjusted the amount of sugar in the recipe in order to suit Pei Zhen’s taste.
“Chocolate with wine-filled centers—cocktail, Vodka, Whiskey… try them.”
Pei Zhen didn’t like chocolate, but he’d eat them for Fu Sichen’s sake. Although, he was curious. “Why are they all filled with alcohol?”
Fu Sichen laughed. “Of course it’s to get you drunk. Pei Pei, you should turn 18 tonight.”
Pei Zhen blinked.
Pei Zhen, who always thought of himself as an under-aged kid, had been cornered.
He didn’t eat much of the candlelight dinner, but he was vaguely aware that he seemed to have had a bit too much to drink. Eventually, he was dead drunk, and even started to shout that he wanted to buy a castle for Fu Sichen.
“In my dream, there was a castle, and in the castle lived a little fairy girl called Sichen.”
Fu Sichen wasn’t too thrilled to be portrayed as a little fairy girl.
But it was a careless move on his part that, instead of an obedient little angel, the Pei Zhen that he had on hand was a completely drunk man.
With great effort, he managed to drag Pei Zhen back to the Presidential Suite. The moment they shut the door and turned around, the drunk man rushed towards the bed.
“That excited?” Fu Sichen’s expression was gloomy for a bit. He unbuttoned his shirt as he walked towards the bed. “Don’t worry; I’ll be gentle.”
“I’m not worried!” Pei Zhen shook off his shoes, jumped onto the King-sized bed, and removed his jacket. “Let’s party!”
Of course, Fu Sichen couldn’t help feeling glad that the man he loved was so enthusiastic. He was going to be a little more reserved and elegant in his approach and had tried to keep his impulsiveness and uncouthness in check. However, by that point, the Little Brat Pei had rolled up his jacket and was holding it like a microphone.
“Everyone, let’s hear all of you cheer!”
Fu Sichen looked at Pei Zhen in bewilderment.
“It’s a matter of course that I’ve been honored with the Best Actor award. In the previous years, I’ve been giving Fu Sichen chances.”
Excuse me?!
