However, Qiu Tong did not have an invitation and could not enter.

Qiu Tong told Qiu Xingqiao to hide while she figured out a way to crack the villa compound’s wireless network. She successfully hacked into the security system and closed all the intruder warning devices.

Carefully avoiding the security guards, she then successfully sneaked into the villa compound with Qiu Xingqiao.

Qiu Xingqiao followed Qiu Tong closely, as if she was his pillar.

“Where are we going now?”

“No rush.”

Using her handphone, Qiu Tong hacked into the surveillance system. She scrolled through all the surveillance records of the perimeter of the compound and the parking lot, before finally finding Mr. Cui.

He had parked his car on the basement floor, and then jogged towards one of the innermost villas.

Qiu Tong nodded slightly at Qiu Xingqiao, indicating for him to follow.

She had Qiu Xingqiao hide in the bushes while she climbed up a banyan tree at the perimeter of the villa. Her body was as light as a cat’s as she quietly sneaked into the second-floor balcony.

Through the glass doors of the balcony, she suddenly saw Qiu Xingyuan and Qiu Xingyu locked up in this room.

Qiu Tong was just about to make a move when she saw someone enter and quickly hid at the side.

The glass was soundproof, and Qiu Tong could not hear the conversation inside. However, it was clear that the other party had not mistreated the two children. Not only had they been provided with food, they were also given fruits and children’s books.

Seeing that the two children were well taken care of and not abused, Qiu Tong heaved a sigh of relief.

There were so many security guards outside and it was broad daylight. It would be very difficult for her to bring the two children along with her now.

But if they waited until it was nighttime, they could escape more easily under the cover of darkness.

Qiu Tong decided to wait until nightfall before taking action. She returned to Qiu Xingqiao’s side.

“Did you find them?”

Qiu Xingqiao was burning with anxiety. Seeing Qiu Tong nod her head, his eyes went red with determination. “Then let’s rescue them quickly!”

Qiu Tong didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. She grabbed his collar and said, “It’s not convenient to make our move now. Wait for the sky to turn dark.”

“I’m going to find out who the owner of this villa is. Wait for me here and don’t run around.”

Qiu Xingqiao nodded obediently. After settling him down, Qiu Tong went back into the security system and secretly hacked all the surveillance cameras around the villa in the southeast corner.

She leaped onto the balcony again and rolled onto the ground. She noticed that the window of the study was open.

Qiu Tong surveyed her surroundings warily. When she realized that no one was around, she supported herself with one hand on the balcony and leaped forward into the study. She landed lightly without making a sound.

Her sharp gaze swept across the decorations in the study room inch by inch, instantly taking in the wall full of medals and trophies. There was even a military uniform hanging on the clothes rack beside it.

Qiu Tong narrowed her eyes and examined each medal carefully. It was then that she realized that the owner of the villa was actually a first lieutenant of the country!

Why would a person of such status spend so much effort to capture two children?

Qiu Tong was confused. When she approached the desk, there was a document on it!

The document contained the order to capture Qiu Xingyuan, Qiu Xingqiao and Qiu Xingyu with all means necessary. Furthermore, it was covered with a red seal. This meant that it was an official document of the highest grade level.

In other words, the person who issued this order was someone of an even higher status than a first lieutenant!

Qiu Tong was secretly shocked. She did not expect this matter to be so complicated.

Just as she was about to investigate further, she heard hasty footsteps coming from the corridor outside. She also heard a low voice.

“Our esteemed guest has arrived.”

A deep and heavy voice rang out. It should be the first lieutenant’s voice. “Send the children upstairs first.”

More footsteps.

When it was quiet outside, Qiu Tong slowly approached the door and opened it slightly.

A broad middle-aged man’s back flashed past the stairs. He seemed to have gone downstairs to welcome the mysterious guest.

Qiu Tong could not help but hold her breath. With a single leap of her long legs, she successfully sneaked into another room and could see everything that was happening downstairs.

Qiu Tong quietly opened the blinds and stared at the door.

Not long after, an extremely familiar face strode in from outside.

Qiu Tong gasped.

This man… how could it be him?!
