Chapter 289 - Sudden Attack

Chapter 289: Sudden Attack

“Reporting! We have found the location of the target.”

In the office on the top floor of the Liqing Corporation, a member on the other end of the video call reported loudly. Yu Ge slapped his thigh. He picked up the gun from the drawer and hugged Terrence’s shoulder as he walked out. “Let’s go teach the President a lesson!”

An armored vehicle with a gun barrel drove out of the secret warehouse in the suburbs and sped towards the villa.

Yu Ge sat in the command car, wiping his lips excitedly.

He held the walkie-talkie and communicated with all the members of the Vulture Organization. “Remember, I want Qiu Tong captured alive. Even if you have to break her arms and legs, you have to bring her back to me still breathing!”

The members answered in unison, “Yes!”

Terrence and Bo Lang exchanged glances, questioning Yu Ge’s rash, impulsive and unplanned attack.

After half an hour of travel, the command vehicle and armored vehicle parked a hundred meters away from the villa, waiting for orders.

Yu Ge held the binoculars and looked ahead. He whispered, “So she’s hiding here?”

“Attack them! I’ll give anyone who can bring Qiu Tong back alive a generous reward!”

With Yu Ge’s order, the members of the Vulture Organization swarmed out and shot down all the guards manning the front.

An ear-piercing alarm resounded throughout the villa.

Qiu Xingyu widened her eyes in shock and hid behind the sofa.

Jin Yang and Song Yan rushed to the entrance. They were both stunned to see the fierce gunfire. No one expected the enemy to reorganize so quickly and find this place to launch a sudden attack.

Shao An ran back from the outside and said hurriedly, “Sir, the other party is very well-equipped. I’m afraid we can’t hold on.”

“I’ll send the personal guards to flee with you, Miss Qiu and the children. Don’t worry, I’ll definitely protect them for you…”

Boom! A rocket launcher accurately hit the roof of the villa, causing the entire building to shake.

Jin Yang held onto the wall and barely managed to steady himself. He snatched the map from Shao An. “Flee?”

“They have surrounded us from all sides. How can we flee?”

Jin Yang threw the bulletproof vest to Song Yan and shouted at him. “Take the children and hide in the basement. Lock the door. The structure of the bomb shelter will make it difficult for even a tank to break in!”

Song Yan narrowed his eyes and rejected him flatly. “I won’t be so cowardly as to hide! You can hide if you want to.”

Jin Yang gave him a vicious punch. Qiu Xingyu’s sobbing could be heard. Qiu Xingyuan and Qiu Xingqiao hid in the corner with Qiu Xingyu in their arms. No matter how calm and composed they usually were, their eyes were now flashing with panic and fear.

After confirming the situation, Jin Yang looked up and said to Song Yan, “You’re injured. Don’t come out and cause trouble.”

Qiu Tong held Qiu Xingyu’s laptop and started the power grid system outside the villa as quickly as possible.

She hoped that this could delay the other party’s attack!

Song Yan looked at their backs and hesitated for two seconds. He then turned around and walked to the children. He held their hands and walked towards the basement.

Qiu Xingyuan flailed his legs as he shouted that he would stay behind to accompany Qiu Tong and Jin Yang.

Song Yan looked down at him with a ruthless expression. “What can you do for them? The enemy can charge in and abduct you. Do you want that to happen so that Qiu Tong has to go and exchange her life for yours? Shut up and stay here obediently…”

Qiu Rong and Ye Luan followed Song Yan to the basement and locked the door, blocking out the sound of gunshots.

Qiu Xingyu threw herself into Qiu Rong’s arms. Her face was covered in tears as she cried, “Why are there bad people everywhere?”

“Grandpa, Mommy, and Uncle Jin Yang are clearly good people. Why do they have to attack us all the time?!”

The young child’s words touched Song Yan’s heart. He clenched his fists and slammed them against the wall of the bomb shelter. He thought to himself that Jin Yang must not die in the hands of others!

Boom! The opponent’s attacks did not stop at all. It was as if there were endless cannonballs.

Jin Yang looked at the guards who were retreating and knew that they wouldn’t be able to hold on for long. He took out the seal he had brought with him and stuffed it into Shao An’s hand. “Go to the nearest neighboring city to find help. We will try our best to hold on until you return!”

Shao An shook his head with red eyes. “Sir, my mission is to protect you!”

Jin Yang shouted anxiously, “That is an order! Hurry up and leave…”

Qiu Tong patted Shao An’s shoulder and said, “The only person we can trust now is you. Hurry up and stop wasting time.”

Shao An gritted his teeth and left as quickly as possible under the cover of the guards.

Qiu Tong picked up a pair of binoculars. The left lens had already shattered but she could still spot Yu Ge sitting in the command vehicle from afar.

Shock flashed across her face for a moment before she regained her composure. “I underestimated him.”

Jin Yang protected her behind him and asked with deep affection, “Are you afraid?”
