Chapter 181: Prince Lin San
Chapter 181: Prince Lin San
"Hmmm?"
Turning his body around, Lin Xiao could see a young man around the same age as him standing while smiling. From the way he dressed, Lin Xiao could clearly see that the young man was someone from the Royal Family.
His eyes narrowed as he was wondering whether the young man had hostile intention or not.
Lin Xiao cupped his hand. "Greetings Your Highness. This one is just looking at the stalls because I find it interesting."
The young man smiled. Despite being one of the princes in the capital city, Lin Xiao somehow had different feeling when he saw the prince before him. The aura around him seemed mystical, yet at the same time, he could sense that the prince looked far more amiable than the others.
"Are you new here?" the prince asked.
"Yes."
"I’m Lin San, the eighteenth prince," The prince, Prince Lin San, introduced himself amiably.
Lin Xiao blinked his eyes. San as in third? He felt that the name of the prince was strange. However, at this time, Sui Wenyan send him sound transmission. Sound transmission could only be used by someone who was at Foundation Establishment, so it was a piece of cake for Sui Wenyan.
’Prince Lin San is the third son of the first prince. He’s not included amongst those who can contend for the throne because he failed to open the gate back in his youth.’
Prince Lin San turned his head to look at Sui Wenyan. "It seems that you’re more knowledgeable."
Sui Wenyan smiled and curtsied, which looked a bit awkward since she was not used to it. "This one just have a bit more knowledge."
"I see." Prince Lin San nodded and pointed at the stalls. "The food there might look delicious, but only the appearance is attractive while the taste is normal. Many people set stalls here just to attract the ladies of the noble families because they want to gain more money."
"I see. Many thanks for Prince Lin Xiao for your guidance," Lin Xiao replied politely.
Prince Lin San nodded. He was looking at Lin Xiao with interest. For some unknown reason, he felt that the youth before him, who was at similar age, was very interesting. There was faint aura that he couldn’t explain coming from Lin Xiao.
Inside Lin Xiao, Lin Hu’s eyes narrowed. ’Lin Xiao, get away from him. This prince is dangerous.’
’Eh? You didn’t even tell me to stay away from the others but you ask me to stay away from this particular prince?’
’That’s because even though they have the qualification to ascend to the throne, their overall ability is poor. They didn’t even know how to use the dragon power that they have inside their blood. Such being the case, they might look powerful now but later they’ll end up as nothing more but stepping stone of others.’
Lin Xiao was speechless at Lin Hu’s words. Did this dragon wanted him to seek enemies from here and there? Prince Lin San hadn’t done anything wrong, so Lin Xiao also find it difficult to get away from him.
"If you want other stalls that are better, you should go to the street near Dragon Pavilion Hall."
Dragon Pavilion Hall?
Lin Xiao’s eyes nearly lit up when he heard that but he suppressed the excitement inside his heart. He couldn’t possibly let other people knew that he had been targeting that hall. Eh wait, that should be the name, right?
"Dragon Pavilion Hall?" Lin Xiao asked back in confused tone.
Sui Wenyan smiled bitterly when she saw how dumb Lin Xiao was. Even for the basic knowledge, there were still many things that this brat didn’t know. "Dragon Pavilion Hall is the place where princes hold their test. It’s the hall that contain the secret of dragons from ancient times."
"if it’s that valuable, how can there be stalls near the place?"
Prince Lin San laughed. This was the first time in his life he met someone who was so clueless like Lin Xiao. "That’s because there’s no one who can enter the hall except if you’re a prince who have the qualification to inherit the throne. This brother over here is really funny, may I know your name?"
Funny?
Lin Xiao was fuming at Prince Lin San’s remark, but he tried his best to suppress whatever thoughts he had and cupped his hand. "This one’s name is Xiao, Your Highness."
"Xiao?" Prince Lin San nodded. While there were many other people who liked to hide their surname because of various circumstances, many didn’t usually dare to do so before a prince. To think that there was someone who dared to do it made Prince Lin San’s interest piqued up.
However, Lin Xiao clearly didn’t know that he had attracted the attention of a prince like this.
Sui Wenyan smiled helplessly. "This one is Sui Wenyan."
"Wenren Yu."
Lin Yun looked at his brother with hesitation then sighed. "Lin Yun."
Hearing the surname, Prince Lin San looked at Lin Yun. Only upon seeing that the young man didn’t emit any mystical aura or giving the impression of someone from the Royal Family did he relax. There were simply too many princes and princesses in the Royal Family and those with distant relation was even more.
While they didn’t really pose a threat, some of them often acted as if they were someone important just because of their long distant relationship with the Royal Family.
"Follow me."
"Yes."
Lin Xiao was watching Prince Lin San’s reaction when he heard what Lin Yun said. His eyes narrowed as he realized that Prince Lin San seemed to be able to recognize whether one was from the Royal Family or not.
’Is there really a method to know whether one is from Royal Family or not just by looking?’
’Normally no, but Prince Lin San had concentrated all of his dragon power in his blood to his eyes.’ Lin Hu’s voice sounded a bit grave.
’What?’
