Chapter 383 Working Together

The enemy, despite his size, punched Jake so fast that he barely saw his arm moving… the attack sent him flying in the opposite direction, making him cross hundreds of kilometers in a single instant… that surprised him to think thatt the enemy could pull something like that off. Maybe it was clear that he could pull it off and Jake just underestimated him...

The friction caused by the air made his body overheat so much that more burn marks appeared on him, but somehow, Jake still stopped himself from moving away from the battlefield by kicking the air.

"Cough, cough… my body isn\'t strong enough yet," Jake coughed, and when he checked his mouth, he saw some blood coming out of it. "I need to hurry… this is my last fight, so I don\'t have to worry about the aftermath."

Jake returned to that location as fast as he could, and then he saw the Shadow titan being attacked by countless spells while he was approaching them. A Black lightning fell from the sky so fast, but the enemy blocked the attack with his left arm and barely any smoke emerged from the spot it was hit.

When the Shadow titan approached to kick the whole army, Jake kicked the air with all his might, and then his speed increased… the enemy blocked his charge with a single arm, but he still was forced to take one step backward.

"What do you expect to do after seeing this?" The shadow titan\'s voice echoed through the area while echoing ominously. "This is the strength that can be used to swallow stars. You can\'t even protect a single one, and you are trying to accomplish what you didn\'t even try before."

"You talk too much," Jake said and then swung his sword.

His blade hit the palm of the enemy\'s hands, and Jake felt the weapon vibrating soon after… it felt like he had hit something tougher than steel. Due to his surprise, the enemy slapped him like he was a bug and the impact sent him flying downward.

Another tremor spread across the area when Jake landed on the ground… the impact opened a fissure on it that followed until reached a nearby mountain, making several cracks appear on it. Before he could get up, the enemy tried to stomp him, but a black lightning fell from the sky and hit the enemy\'s head.

"Annoying witch…" the shadow titan said when he was paralyzed by the attack.

Jake got up while feeling the taste of blood stronger than ever in his mouth, Lana began to heal him, but she stopped when the enemy suddenly made a shaped spear emerge from his hand and then threw it at the humans nearby.

Julian was insane enough to try to reflect the attack, but he only lasted for a moment. The bones in his body began to crack before he was pushed backward and collided with many others. Fortunately, that didn\'t last for long since several earth spears emerged from the ground and changed the direction of the attack. Frederick, leading many other mages, pulled that off…

"The struggle of ants is truly something annoying to see…" the shadow titan said.

"And yet, you want the power of those ants," Jake said. "It is just like Karina said. We might be ants, but you are even smaller than an ant. You are a parasite."

The shadow titan glared at Jake with all the hatred in his heart… eventually, he made up his mind and summoned a sword made of shadows. Instead of throwing it, he held it with his left hand… the weapon was at least three meters long… for the first time, Jake regretted a little for his habit of taunting his enemies. Still, he raised his sword and assumed the ox guard before the enemy swung his weapon at him.

The attack opened a fissure that was so deep that it was hard to tell how much it was with eyes alone. The blast of the attack destroyed everything on its way, and it even reached mountains hundreds of kilometers away. The ground began to tremble, and rocks began to fall around the humans… a single swing of that sword was enough to kill them all.

After dealing with the rocks, the people there felt the stare of the shadow titan. Jake was nowhere to be seen, so he focused his eyes on them. Some of the people began to sweat cold, and others lost the strength in their legs.

"I will reflect his next attack, just focus on healing me so that my body will endure until I complete it," Julian said.

"It is impossible for you to do that alone," Karina said.

"If that is the case, then I will give a hand," Arilene said and then summoned several ghost warriors. "This guy is the enemy of those that almost destroyed my home and my people… I won\'t let him win."

"Another hot-blooded fool…" Karina said and then sighed.

"Running away isn\'t an option. We have to do this," Lana declared.

Louise nodded while looking at them, and then she looked at the other guild masters, and they nodded at her. The task ahead was a difficult one, but they didn\'t have any other choice. It was do or die…
