Chapter 119 - Why Is She So Unaffected?

Yuna had a troubled expression on her face as she was standing next to Ryuhan, grabbing his shirt between her index and thumb finger of her right arm.

Ryuhan and Naoto both were glaring at each other, just the difference was the Ryuhan\'s eyes illustrated his anger and Naoto\'s didn\'t. But she also had an indifferent expression that was more intimidating than Ryuhan\'s.

"Just stop both of you… there is no reason to talk about these things now!" Yuna said with a shaky voice. It seems like she is one of those kinds of people who can\'t handle people shouting at them.

"Yuna, stay out of this." Naoto pierced her with her cold eyes and said in an authoritative voice.

Ryuhan, with a stern expression, looked down at Yuna for a moment, "Yeah! Stay out of this."

Yuna narrowed her eyes, with prominent irritation on her face, she spouted, "No I won\'t… you two are acting like kids right now!"

Ryuhan, in a sarcastic tone, looked at Yuna and said, "Tell that to your friend to take things seriously…"

He shifted his gaze towards Naoto and continued his rant, "Just because she became the president doesn\'t mean she can do anything!"

Hearing those words, a sudden glimpse of rage illustrated on her face as with a stern voice and tensed eyebrows, she shot back, "Ryuhan-san be clear with your words… What are you trying to say?"

Ryuhan raised his eyebrows, "Huh!?"

A moment of silence spread across the room, as they all shared an intense look. Ryuhan bursted again, "You ruined the club goddammit…"

"Ryuhan!" Yuna yelled at him to stop him from proceeding further, but the only thing that remained was the silence and the reverberation from their voice.

Clenching his fist, and with a bitter tone, he continued, "You and your careless attitude…"

"What is wrong with you!?"

Almost as if he was sick of seeing her like this, a small hint of concern could be felt from his tone. "You weren\'t like this!"

"You\'ve become so casual about everything in your life!" He slammed his hand on the wall next to him, that startled both me and Yuna.

"Is that the reason you ended your relationship with Vivian!" As those words left his mouth, Naoto, who had a blank stare till this moment, shifted her gaze to him in astonishment, but didn\'t utter a single word.

Being left in silence, Ryuhan yelled again, "Answer me Naoto!"

Well, looking at Ryuhan, he doesn\'t look like the kind of person who would get mad easily. But if he gets mad, then it won\'t be good. Yuna seemed to be trying her best to stop him from getting pissed any further, but all her efforts were futile.

Naoto\'s eyes scanned over to me and then went to Yuna. For a moment, she closed her eyes and with a deep sigh, she answered, "I\'m under no obligation to answer your questions."

"And if it is about the club, then it\'s my club and I\'ll manage it." She added in a plain tone.

Ryuhan clenched his jaws at her answer and there was disbelief on his face, "What did… My club? Huh?"

He took a step back, looked her in the eyes. Naoto averted her eyes from him. Turning around he said in an exhausted tone, "I\'m so done with you!"

As he was about to exit the room, Yuna turned to stop him, "Ryuhan, wait…"

Yuna grabbed his hand and yanked him backwards, "Wait… for god\' sake!"

He looked over his shoulder at her and then gave Naoto a cold look, "I\'m leaving the club. Best of luck to you and your club."

Neither of us in the room were expecting this turn of events. Yuna avidly looked at him with silence, and Naoto was also shocked. There was nothing but silence in the room, as he added, "I won\'t come here anymore."

"Wait… why are you behaving like this!?" Yuna asked, almost baffled at his decision.

Like a decision, taken in the heat of the moment, Yuna advised him, "Just think this out once calmly… no need to decide to like that."

Ryuhan, with a slight smile, turned around and placed his left hand on top of her head and patted her while saying, "Well, we are far off the point where we can talk things out…"

And with that, he was about to leave the room, and Yuna was persistent in her stopping him. He glanced at her and said in a tone that would make anyone think twice before doing that, "Don\'t follow me, Yuna!"

"Bu… but…"

"See, I\'m already pissed off… I\'ll talk to you later." He slammed the door shut and left and his footsteps grew distant until it couldn\'t be heard anymore.

There was again a reign of silence in the room, as Yuna shot out this time, "Naoto!? Why the heck did you say that?"

"Shit!"

"Next week is the festival and look at us now!" Yuna was out of her wits and it seems like they forgot I was in the room.

"Everything is messed up… so...Damnnn!!!!"

"Ryuhan left because of you!" Even after all these things being said to her, she said nothing and kept her straight face. It seemed like she was unaffected by everything.

"Say something, Naoto! I\'m talking to you!" She said in a sharp tone, which I didn\'t expect from her.

"I have nothing to say. I said what I said." Naoto looked at her with a sigh and answered vaguely.

"Agh!" Yuna also opened the door and slammed it behind her.

There were only the two of us in the room in silence as I decided to break it. I glanced at her as her eyes were staring at the blank door in front of her. I called out in a soft voice, "Senpai…"

"Hmm?" Her dark eyelids shifted towards me instantly and she nodded.

"Why are you acting so immature?" Since she was kind of like me, it was a bit difficult to start a conversation with her.

She sighed and her shoulders slouched down a bit as she said, "See, you don\'t know anything, so better not get involved in this."

"I may not know as much as you people do, but I definitely know that\'s not a way to act with someone." I replied.

She looked at me with a frown and requested, "Just leave me alone, please?"

Considering everything that happened so far, it was best to leave her alone as I had little to talk with her anyway. I just nodded and left the room silently, "Alright."
