Chapter 337 - 337 Sharp Eyes Of Mother!
She sighed in frustration, her mind was getting heavy and it really caused her headaches, she heaved out a deep breath before she glared at the other, followed by her gritted teeth.
Pan Er Jiu\'s couldn\'t help but think, \'I forgot that I gave her the list! Oh my God! Those are as good as gone…\'
Both the sisters glanced at each other and smiled, which looked particularly dazzling and sizzling. Pan Er Jiu felt intimidated by the aura her mother was releasing.
In a while, the taxi left with a whizz in the heavy rain~
While the taxi was driving on the road, it was completely silent, a pin drop one as nobody talked about anything.
Pan Er Jiu\'s eyes were glued to the glass of the taxi but her gaze was observing the surrounding area, the houses and fewer trees felt like they were moving when she was the one who was in a moving vehicle.
She seemed so concentrated that it looked like she was searching for something. As soon as she saw a shop, Pan Er Jiu cried out, "Stop! Stop the taxi!"
Her mother turned to her, probably surprised with her sudden outburst and asked, "Why?!"
"Ma, I\'ve to go to the store to buy something. Give me your purse!" Even before her mother could say any further, she snatched the little purse that stayed firmly inside her mother\'s grip and took the umbrella from the floor. "Don\'t leave the taxi no matter how much time it takes! Got it?!"
"Fine!" Her mother saw her in a hurried state and shouted.
She was indeed annoyed but she had no better option than obeying and trusting her own daughter.
Her aunt, however, said with hesitation, "Er Jiu, hurry up, okay? Your grandma is waiting for us to return!"
"Hmm." That was only what she got from the young girl.
Afterwards, Pan Er Jiu went to the store and after entering, she sighed heavily. \'Ah, it was so stuffy in the taxi! I felt like Ma wanted to beat me up. No… she would have already beat me if aunt wasn\'t present…\'
Pan Er Jiu patted her heart and took in a few deep breaths as she walked in. When she turned around, she was startled because her mother was staring straight at her through the glass windows.
\'Hurry up!\' She noticed her mother\'s moving lips and read the words. In return, she just nodded her head in quietness.
"..."
Nonetheless, Pan Er Jiu went inside and bought some materials. Then, she went to sit at the furthest corner of the shop. After she had swept a glance around the shop and noticed that there wasn\'t any CCTV or whatever, slowly, she rolled up her pants till her thighs.
The band-aids on her knees had already turned red and blood had been smeared on the skin. Pan Er Jiu hissed and rolled her eyes somewhere else as she couldn\'t bear to see this scene. "My life… It wasn\'t this terrible abroad. Huhu~"
Then, slowly, she put her fingers on those band-aids and slowly tucked at them. Then, with tears in her eyes and grievance in her heart, Pan Er Jiu began to remove them, "Ah!... Ouch! Oh!... MAA!!!... Wua!... Aiya!..."
After nearly five minutes, Pan Er Jiu successfully removed all those things. All the time, she breathed heavily as if someone was trying to cut off her skin. It indeed was painful but she bore it all in.
Then, she put sanitiser in a swab of cotton and began to apply it on her knees, \'Ahh~\'... "Wuah!"
At the end of her thoughts, Pan Er Jiu shrieked out because someone put a hand on her shoulder.
Her mother\'s glare turned into concern when she saw the bloody scene. The curses which were on the verge of her lips vanished and flowery words bloomed.
"Ah, my child. How did you get injured?!" The old mother dragged a chair in front of her and sat down. She eyed her knees in concern. When she saw those bloody stains on the beautiful white surface, her heart ached, "Will these leave scars?!"
Pan Er Jiu froze when her mother\'s face came before her, \'Oh no! I didn\'t want her to know! Ahh!\'
"Ma, why did you leave the taxi? Didn\'t I tell you not to… ah?! Why are you hitting me?!" Pan Er Jiu\'s already creased face distorted further when her mother whacked her arms heavily.
The old mother left powerful slaps which were enough to shake. Then, the woman angrily spoke out, "You idiot! If Ma didn\'t come, how would I know what you are doing for so long?! Look at this! Did you plan to hide it from me?! Seriously?!"
Her mother took her legs on her lap and then took the swab from Pan Er Jiu\'s hand, "Let me help you."
"Ah, Ma, no need…" She softly mumbled and avoided her mother\'s gaze.
Hearing it, her mother\'s concern filled face changed into a glare full of murderous Intent. Pan Er Jiu shut up and passed the thing to her mother like a good child.
Then, her mother cleaned her wounds with skillful techniques. Pan Er Jiu felt less pain this time. When she was feeling much better, her mother asked with a sharp edge on the words, "How did you get injured?!"
Pan Er Jiu blinked her eyes as she stared at her mother\'s forehead. How could she tell her the whole story?! If she did, then her mother would make a U-turn and go back to the airport, just to make trouble for the shop manager!
Pan Er Jiu stuttered and hesitated while saying, "Ah-hhh, it\'s-it\'s like t-this, I-I… "
Her mother lifted her head and gave her a sharp look. Then she smiled and put pressure on the swab of cotton on her wounds.
"Ouch! Ouch! Ma, it hurts!" Pan Er Jiu yelled out like a cat whose tail was stepped on! With her hands, she subconsciously tried to stop her mother but the other person yanked her hands away.
"You useless brat! Did you get bullied again?! Huh?!"
"..."
"Why aren\'t you replying? Are you mute? Who bullied you?! Tell me the name! I will make that human regret it for the rest of his/her life!"
"... Ma, that person… My boss made her get arrested by the police. She should be in jail now…" Pan Er Jiu said the thing which could make her mother calm down in a second.
As expected, her mother smiled broadly when she learned it. Her fingers became gentle as she began to clean the wound.
Pan Er Jiu heaved another sigh inwardly. If her mother was determined to go to the bottom of this matter, even a 100 Pan Er Jiu wouldn\'t be enough to stop her. That was the power that her mother held against her, heh.
Every mother does!
After her mother bandaged her knees all clean, she patted gently on her calf and said, "You got a good boss this time. Instead of bullying you, she directly sent the culprit to jail! Woah! Remember to invite her some time for a meal when you return!"
"... Alright." Pan Er Jiu nodded. Well, if she dared to say things like, \'No I won\'t! Or like, she is very busy and I don\'t think she will come?\' Then, it was clear her mother wouldn\'t hesitate a moment to beat her again.
...
When Pan Er Jiu reached her aunt\'s home, it was silent, too silent for her liking and thus she concluded that probably all the people were sleeping. She was given an empty room to stay in for the night.
After her mother put down her things in one corner of the room, she left with her aunt.
But when Pan Er Jiu had just fallen asleep, she came back and began to check the things she had bought.
Pan Er Jiu opened her eyes and rubbed them as she eyed the figure in the dark, "Ma, you can check them tomorrow."
"Oh! You\'re awake. Don\'t mind me, Go to sleep." Her mother said without giving her a glance and kept fondling the boxes with excitement.
Again, stunned and speechless.
She doubted if her mother cared for her more or the things she had brought?
"..." Pan Er Jiu turned around and wrapped herself with the blanket with an exhausted mind, \'Fine, you are the queen! What can I say?!\'
...
After the cars stopped before Luo Lixi and her group, they got in swiftly. Luo Lixi glanced at the outside scenery through the glass windows.
Her eyes felt heavy as she tried to stay awake. The cars cut through the rain as it advanced ahead.
Buzz…. Boom!
The distant sky lit up and a loud sound of thunder reverberated throughout the whole area. Luo Lixi sobered up immediately.
The drivers had a stiff face as they tried their best to drive the cars carefully despite the rain hitting the car and the road all filled with raindrops.
